Was a Cub Scout, Explorer and later Venture Crew Assistant. Having said this, however, I agree with Penn & Teller that the BSA SHOULD return to the pre-1972 stance of having NO STANCE WHATSOEVER on Religion or Sexuality for the Scouts themselves. Whether they are gay or atheist, that should NOT be a determining factor for Scouts.
