The tax for matching funds is optional. You must check mark a little box on your tax form to voluntarily give money to it.

I say he takes it.

Oh and it is more than $20 million, more like $30 million.

Ron Pauls results in NH are less than half of what I expected. I figured he would bring in 15-18%

looks like he will get about 8%. at this point, I agree - please take the matching funds.

take the money.

It was not extracted from the population by force, it was donated by the taxpayers on a voluntary basis.

Take it...

You already have these imposters preaching the same message. People will keep talking about what Dr. Paul is talking about because it's in style.

Take it. Its a matter of saving this country. It was disgusting to see Hillary and McCain win NH.

I want a full accounting from HQ of how much we could get. Ron buys a fleet of busses and funds a couple more blimps with the money. Only travels in a luxury cars and hires paparazzi to follow him everywhere.

No congressional pension. What makes you think he'd take matching funds? Voted against $40,000 for a medal for Rosa Parks because it was taxpayer's money. He won't take it.

The problem, and the reason Ron would never take that money, is while we understand the ends justify the means, the general public NEVER would. They still apparently think McCain is a live free or die state candidate remember?

No, Ron Paul should not take the funds. These are funds where force is used to gain them. This is not what a freedom thinking individual would do.

I don't want to see Dr. Paul traveling around in Chrysler mini vans any more. Screw the principle on this one. Take the Money. I would welcome any negative media coverage.
