Another Zogby poll

Where does it say he was not given as an option on the poll? It says that they don't list candidates that barely register, that doesn't mean they didn't include him in the candidate list on the phone. They also said that on the last one in NH where he registered at 3%.

"Zogby International polls in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, South Carolina, and nationally, always include all of the declared candidates - including such candidates as Ron Paul - and even a couple who are reportedly thinking about running - including Fred Thompson. However, we don't always include all the data for candidates who register at the very bottom of the list." - Zogby Int. May 17, NH Poll.

I'd argue that the most positive results for Paul are coming from Zogby. And you're advocating mail bombing them. So what if he doesn't think he'll win, not many people do at this stage. Whatever they're doing seems to be better than other polls from my perspective. Last Gallup he barely registered. 3% in NH is not bad.

I stand by my original statement. I see no reason to go on the offensive because Paul didn't register well one one of their polls. The Margin of Error is 4%, that means Paul could be at 0% or he could be at 4%. It is completely realistic that he is at less than 1%, and if the MoE is 4%, there is nothing to talk about. And if people attack them for doing their job and reporting their findings, what is that going to prove and accomplish, besides alienating people? Now, if you know for a fact that his name was not mentioned on the telephone poll, I concede and apologize.

What does "MoE" mean? And how do they figure out the "MoE"? I know what it stands for, but that's all. Margin of Error.

If Paul is at 0.5%, he could be at 0% or even 5% if the MoE is 4.5%. Similarly, if Mike Huckabee is at 5%, he could be at 9.5% or 0.5%.

Well, if we take the MoE into account, including the percentages that the candidates that aren't in the race are getting, then we could possibly see a MoE + the percentages that went to the candidates not running all going to Ron Paul. How do we know how they would've voted without the additional candidates in the poll?

it's way to early to worry about polls.

Ron Paul draws interest from alot of different people - including citizens that have given up on the process until now.

I read that as saying they collect/catalog data on all the declared candidates. That doesn't necessarily mean they mention every declared candidate as an option over the phone. I would expect an uptick in support after the SC debate however the couple dozen polls I've seen in the past from Zogby have seemed fair and certainly their business goes hand in hand with their credibility.

I assume he was listed in the question but I can certainly see him not being listed too. If someone can substantiate the latter being the case, I'll be out in front stabbing at their exposed underbelly (particularly because of this misleading statement, if in fact it is).
