Yep. Reminds me of whenever there are tragedies in more remote areas of the world and the US media doesn't make half the stink they make for disasters that have fractional death tolls in the US. I am always reminded of the Indian Ocean tsunami and the tiny amount of coverage it got compared to hurricane Katrina. 200,000+ foreigners are worth less than 1,000+ Americans...well that's the general feeling I came away with based on how they treated it.
