Just got back and and was the Secretary of the Precinct Convention. Not sure what that completely entails. My wife and I are both delegates and about 5 others. I think there was one McCain and the rest of the delegates where unclaimed.

+1 for another RP delegate.

First thing I heard when I got home was John McK@in won.

+3 Paulite delegates here.

We filled out 5 delegate spots tonight out of a total of 23 possible delegates though :o

Well another delegate here. We only had 8 people show up for my precinct and had 20 delegate slots open.

I can believe all the unclaimed seats are so wide spread. We should be owning them. Hopefully this isn't a sign that our grassroots are eroding.

The Dem caucus tonight in my precinct was crazy. At least 50 or 60 people were there. We only had a grand total of 9 people show up to the GOP side.

We had six delegate spots, only three were filled and we ALL support Ron Paul! We are going to do all we can to go all the way and vote for Ron no matter who we are pledged to !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way, there were about 200 democrat delegate wannabes!!!! If McCain does get it, ugh!!, he will lose so very badly it will make history!!!

We had two precincts at our polling place. There must of been 250-300 for the Dems and they allowed voting till 9. The two Democrat precints split up and went to opposite ends of the parking lot and used a megaphone. The two republican groups only had about 20 each and went inside small rooms.

If this stuff doesn't send a clear message to the GOP...

Unclaimed seats, so long as someone is elected delegate, simply go to the assigned delegates. As I understand it, if you have a precinct with 3 seats, but only one delegate, that delegate goes to the county convention with the voting power of 3 delegates.

My precinct had 7 in attendance and 5 were for Ron Paul. A neighboring precinct had around 40 in attendance and 30 were for Ron Paul. I couldn't believe it! Ron Paul had all the delegates in a Central Austin, Texas location. The Democrats had hundreds in attendance in neighboring caucuses. The important thing is Ron Paul has all the real support in delegates in Central Austin even though the popular vote was clearly McCain.

That's absolutely true. The 6 delegates (or however many end up appearing of that) from my precinct have 9 votes at the SD convention.

Now there are 23 possible delegates in my precinct (what I was told). My wife and I are on the list and about 3 others are also. Those others mentioned that they may not attend the next convention. Does that mean it's possible that my wife and I may get all 23 delegates?
