Another call from the rigged Rasmussen poll

A reliable friend of mine from my Meet-Up group just stated to me that he received an automated call from Rasmussen about two weeks ago. This poll did not list Ron Paul by name initially, but after pushing # 6 for some "other candidate", Ron Paul's name was then present. My friend, of course, voted for Ron Paul.

This is very significant. I know that others in this forum have reported back in October that Rasmussen had been doing this, leaving Paul's name off the initial list. But I thought for some reason that since November 5th, Rasmussen was not doing this anymore. But now we know he still is.

By putting Ron Paul in a phone tree, RP loses 1/3 of his support. Undecided leaners will not pick Ron Paul under this biased system.

The effect of undecided leaners is analyzed here:

Add 50% to Ron Poll numbers in every Rasmussen poll for just this one reason alone.

Today, RP is polling at 7%:

Daily Presidential Tracking Poll

RP is really polling at 10.5% in the Rasmussen poll. There is still the bias of not including cell phones and the definition of "likely voters" as well.

Has anyone else received a call from the Rasmussen poll?

I just had an amazing thing happen. I am so gun-shy about the acusations of "Paultards" conspiring to rig polls, I will NOT say where... but someone may be trying to get an accurate count. I was just surfing a news website. A box popped up: "Want to take a survey?" They are controlling who gets asked, and they got hold of a middle-class, middle-aged housewife. That should have someone scratching their head!

Who cares? This only leads to people underestimating us. It's not the election; it's a poll. If our efforts relied on polls we would not be the most effective supporter base in presidential campaign history.

I think the polls are a very big deal, because if and when they steal the election in the primaries through "faulty" voting machines, and Paul only gets about 6% of the votes, most people will assume the election results were accurate because that's where the polls put him. If the polls were fair at all and Paul had 20-30% of the poll results, and then they tried to steal the election and gave him only 6%, we'd know something was going on and they wouldn't be able to get away with it. Furthermore, if they steal the election and keep skewing the poll results and THEN we complain about the election results, the Old Media will just make us out to look like sore losers and complete wackos with our conspiracy theories. The only thing is, there REALLY IS A CONSPIRACY going on right now to keep Ron Paul from winning. I see this as their entirely possible "master plan" to keep Paul from winning, and I have no idea what we can possibly do to fix this problem.

Because of low poll numbers, RP is losing $1 million dollars of media coverage every day.

I agree with that 100%. The low poll numbers are being done for a reason and it isn`t just to make RP look "2nd tier". There is definately a plan in place. There is no such thing as a coincidence when it happens over and over and over.

Calling the kettle black

While I think Ron Paul is a viable candidate for President I have not made up my mind. I do get the sense form this forum and other things i have read that Ron Paul's base is obsessed with conspiracy theories from 9/11 and on. Saying that Rassmussen is rigging a poll goes right in with everything else I have read.

Also, is there any substance to the claim that Ron Paul is a racist? How do you counter this: http://www.dirtyelection.com?

The low expectations is a huge plus though in spite of the lack of attention.
