In an effort to modernize our infrastructure and software system, we will be making the difficult move to a new system very soon.
To accommodate for the technical migration process, the site will have to be shut down for a period of 12+ hours.
As with most things, there are benefits and drawbacks. The core benefits are getting on a stable platform that will be much more reliable, more robust to handle spammers and attackers, have more reliable e-mailing, mobile responsive design, have constant software upgrades and more. The drawbacks are a loss of some of the unique features we've added over the years and less potential for customization. While unfortunate, the new platform will provide long-term upsides that we otherwise can't match.
Due to the ongoing server issues, we will be making the transition more rapidly than desired. With this, the site initially be more plain at first, but we will work to adjust the site quickly as we settle into the new home.
Thank you for all of the years of helping in the pursuit of liberty. Onward to this next step!
