Ann Coulter Supports Paul?!

That's absolutely untrue. She said she'd vote for whoever the nominee is because it's better than a Democrate (I dont' think that's discernable personally)...

She has HEAVILY criticized the frontrunners. She likes Ron Paul on almost everything except Iraq.

I watched the video based on the Daily Paul posting.

What she said was that she is a dissatisfied Goldwater Republican, and wasn't happy with any of the current candidates but would vote Republican against the Democrats, even if Ron Paul was the candidate.

IMO a true christian would only vote for Ron Paul unless another anti-war candidate joins the race. Wouldn't a person that publicly states that they live their lives soley by the teachings of Jesus not have any choice other than to be anti-war?

So many things on this earth don't make sense.

As far as the primaries she has stated that she wants to see Duncan Hunter get the nomination, but recognizes that he won't. Right before that she stated that before 9/11 she was lock step with Buchanon on everything.

Okay, I have my issues with her, but this actually proves she's a free-thinker. In today's political atmosphere, complimenting Ron Paul on his domestic policy (which I think she generally did by 1. mentioning the low taxes point and 2. only criticizing Paul on his foreign policy) despite disagreeing with him on the most important issue to her (foreign policy) is a big deal, and is a great indicator about conservatives today. Remember that the key difference between pro-war and anti-war is the belief that Islamo-fascists are rallying muslims to kill/convert the Western World until there's a global Islamic Empire; that's where the justification for American empire and global policeman comes from. Thus, the core values of conservatism, IE the ideal role of government, are the same, the only disagreement is HOW ARABS/MUSLIMS ACT. Comments like these by Ann Coulter give Ron Paul's domestic views huge credibility to both pro-war and anti-war conservatives. This really is a blessing.
