"and then there were 50" Who is with me?

wow. if we could get even 10 guys elected that voted like ron, it would be the start of something truly unstoppable. we could actually play by their rules, and completely take them over. revolution without firing a shot. it really is possible. that's kinda crazy...

Hey Torch did you participate in any other political offices before your run in '04?

You do realize this is only the beginning.
People are feeling frustrated and hopeless...remember..
"..and then there were 50"
I've put myself up as one of those 50 Ron Paul Republicans who will be seeking a congressional seat... and I have the experience and know-how to do it.

I've been organizing with all the main Ron Paul hubs to put together a congressional moneybomb for my campaign, and since we did so well in the caucus people know Louisiana as Ron Paul territory. And look at what a team we have here!

Check out the early build of my money bomb site: http://www.moneybomb1.com
Check out my completed campaign site: http://www.joinsanders.com

I've been keeping low key so we could all focus on Ron Paul, but I think its time we take this message even further and I'm starting to get a lot of support from all the forums.

Question is.... will you rally around me too?

There is hope... and our grassroots online will play a big part in the reclamation of congress.

I hope we keep this message alive. I am carrying the flag forward. Who's with me?

Way to go Brent, this is awesome!!

I've been talking about this for a while now. Getting individuals with Ron Paul's platform into congress is JUST AS IMPORTANT as a Ron Paul nomination.

Imagine a team of Ron Paul congressmen and women moving our ideals forward.

Ron Paul's bills may have some staying power. Not only that, but a lot of other people in congress agree with Ron Paul, but they are SCARED to be the only vote with him.

If there is a voting bloc going Ron Paul's way every time, it can bring others already in congress over the fence and onto our side!

Can Dr Paul split his campaign funds among you 50?

Technically yes, but i would not expect him to do such.. each of us, as a candidate, need to be able to raise money by proving ourselves to the grassroots.
A free market approach to funding the more desirable candidates.. because each individual will make a vote of confidence with a donation.

That is why I ask.. who is with me?

Brent,

Have you been in contact with the campaign at all? Getting an endorsement I think would be huge in your district and give you the legitimacy your looking for.

I know a couple others have gotten the endorsement.

I know Dean Santoro should have one, he's just waiting for it in writing before he announces it. He said RP and the campaign have been real busy, but RP is following Dean's campaign and is supporting him. I know Dean and RP keep in touch.

Sent you an email. I will donate next month, but I can help anytime. I live close enough to make a day trip if you need anything.

I thought my own efforts in this movement would have earned the respect of my fellow patriots without a seal of approval from Dr. Paul.
I can ask if it really makes that much of a difference, but I would hope my own actions speak on my behalf, not Dr. Paul.

I assume he's a very busy man, and to seek his endorsement at this time would be rude. I am willing to prove myself... as my own man.

Do you think that is the wrong approach? I will call if my fellow patriots demand such an endorsement before supporting me.

I don't think it hurts, and I don't think it's a demand either.

I do think once Ron Paul's situation settles down, and he's available to speak with you, it only helps. It's kind of like the icing on the cake, but I wouldn't say it's necessary.

Dean got involved because every time Ron Paul came to South Florida, Dean was one of the main people to organize everything and help raise money for Ron Paul and do so much to put together events and speaking engagements etc. That's where that came from.

I think it's easier to raise money on a national level with an endorsement. But from a district perspective probably not as necessary.

On the forums, you've been here forever and I remember the work you put into getting things done for the Ames Straw Poll...I think you won't have a problem finding supporters from this forum.
