Husband of Fired Tennessee Cop Sticking by Wife After Her Alleged Sex Romp with 6 Colleagues

The husband of a Tennessee police officer is sticking by his wife after she was fired for allegedly having sexual relations with at least six colleagues, according to a report.

The La Vergne Police Department made national headlines this past week after Officer Maegan Hall was fired for allegedly engaging in sexual relations with fellow officers, including while on duty and inside city-owned property, Breitbart News reported. The disgraced cop is also accused of sending nude photos and taking her top off at a ‘girls gone wild party’ at a sergeant’s house.

The sex scandal led to five officers, including Maegan Hall, being fired and three others suspended. The small Nashville-area police force was reduced by 12 percent after the department’s internal evaluation.

Despite the alleged infidelity, Coffee County deputy Jedidiah Hall, Maegan Hall’s husband, is sticking by his wife and is attempting to save the marriage, the Daily Mail reported.

“I don’t know how he’s doing it, he’s more of a man than I am, but he’s trying to salvage his marriage,” Jedidiah Hill’s boss, Coffee County Sheriff Chad Partin, told the outlet. “I have offered and extended to him any resource that he needs. And all he says is, sheriff, I just want to work for the citizens of Coffee County and I love what I’m doing.”

“I don’t condone what went on at the La Vergne Police Department but he sure hasn’t broken any laws. He’s the victim here. There’s not a blemish on his record. He is doing a phenomenal, phenomenal job,” Patrin added.

One of the suspended officers, Patrick Magliocoo, told internal investigators that Maegan Hall would tell her colleagues she was in an open relationship. Still, Jedidiah Hall “really wasn’t on board,” the New York Post reported.

Furthermore, Magliocco also told investigators that there were concerns for Maegan Hall’s mental health, claiming that she had been drinking heavily and had pointed an empty gun to her head to hear the sound.

Take out the trash Jed.

You know, if I had boinked that nasty looking thing I wouldn't exactly want the whole world knowing about it, lol.

Coffee Counties finest....what a shit show all the way around.

It's no secret I don't care for cops much at all.

But one of the really distasteful things I have observed, around small town cop forces in particular, that has nothing to with law or government: the place is often like a goddamned inbred hillbilly camp.

This one's fucking that one who's fucking the other one's wife who's fucking the day shift sergeant and on and on...

I have witnessed the Peyton Place atmosphere at many high profile employers (and it does seem to be more pervasive at govt employers). Cheating spouses is older than humans themselves. I don't know that I'd call any husband or wife a simp for continuing in the marriage. It is my understanding that "simp" is not the correct term here. Divorce used to be taboo, while cheating was common, and much more common once women entered the workforce.

But the level of public humiliation here is out of the ordinary, which leads to this opinion:

Additionally, there are men that stay with their wives after the wives had children from affairs. I kind of had the same thought as the boss above in those situations. Of course children completely changes the dynamics. Many people like having kids, and the genetics are not an issue for them.

No way. That husband isn't a man. I'm not sure what the term "simp" means, but this dude is too afraid of his own insecurities to kick that nutcase to the curb?? He needs to grow a pair and refuse to have anything to do with a female like that.

What puzzles me is how that woman even made the police force in the first place. Not only does she look like she belongs in middle school, she's not intimidating the the slightest.

Seriously? That puzzles you?? Have you seen the city police forces lately?

There are lots of chicks like this in the world. They get off on the attention they can get from men. I'm sure she has no daddy issues. But her husband is even more problematic to me. That dude is mentally broken. And he's the one that stays on the force! Yikes!

:nauseated:

Couldn't the Sheriff's Dept. PR people come up with any platitudes that are at least a little less vacuous and eye-roll inducing?

WHAT DOES SIMP MEAN?
Simp is a slang insult for men who are seen as too attentive and submissive to women, especially out of a failed hope of winning some entitled sexual attention or activity from them.

Translation? The word simp is meant to troll young men for doing anything for a girl to get some action he supposedly deserves.

2020 has been a wild ride, and our Word of the Year illustrates that. Find out what the 2020 Word of the Year is here!

While much older as a term, simp massively trended among late 2019 and early 2020 due in part to a TikTok trend among male members of Generation Z called “Simp Nation.” The slang has been criticized for stereotyping such men as effeminate and implies women are manipulative sexual objects. However, the term is also evolving some more general senses of liking someone, akin to the slang stan.

Example: If telling his girlfriend he would always be there for her makes him a simp, then I guess he’s been simping for a long time now.

I have found men that do that to be religious and dedicated to family. YMMV. Not saying that it's for everyone. It is a far cry from the standard slogan among many women that “all men are pigs”.

Yeah, I believe the previously very popular term “cuck” is more appropriate. It was my understanding that “simps” never get married or even touch the women. I’m not sure if there is some overlap there with the idiots that send money to women on the internet. That may be “simp” activity too.

...

“And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.”

I agree, "cuck" is a much better term in this case.

An implication of being a "simp" is that the simp's affections are unrequited (while the cucks' are not).

I’m not sure if there is some overlap there with the idiots that send money to women on the internet. That may be “simp” activity too.

My impression has been that not only is there some overlap, but that the overlap is a significant - and perhaps even the primary - exemplar of "simping".

Ex-Tennessee cop Maegan Hall, fired over trysts with 6 other officers, settles fed lawsuit that will cost city whopping $500K

{Jorge Fitz-Gibbon | 21 March 2024}

A former Tennessee cop who got axed for her trysts with six other officers on the job has settled her federal civil lawsuit against her former employer for a whopping $500,000, according to reports.

Maegan Hall, who claimed she was “sexually groomed” by a cadre of male colleagues on the force, sued the city of La Vergne last year after word of her raunchy romps made national headlines.

On Wednesday, the La Vergne board voted 3-1 at a special meeting to settle the suit, WTVF News said.

“The La Vergne Board of Mayor and Aldermen voted tonight to authorize the mayor to sign a settlement agreement between the City of La Vergne and former police officer Maegan Hall,’ city leaders wrote in a statement, according to the outlet.

“The agreement was negotiated between the attorneys representing the city and Hall,” the statement said. “The City’s insurance provider will pay the sum of $500,000 to Hall as a gross settlement, which includes court costs, attorneys fees and expenses.

“The City denies any admission of liability and no taxpayer funds will be spent to settle this lawsuit.”

Hall, 28, made national headlines last year after her stationhouse sexcapades went public, including affairs with her supervisor, Sgt. Lewis Powell, and others.

According to an internal investigation, Hall hooked up with several colleagues, sent them nude pictures and went topless in a “Girls Gone Wild” themed hot tub party — and even performed oral sex on two cops while on duty.

She also allegedly had a threesome with one of the cops and his wife, according to the city’s report.

The hanky-panky cost several of the male cops their jobs, including Sgt. Lewis Powell, Hall’s supervisor.

The shocking investigation report included findings that then-police Chief Burrell “Chip” Davis, who was fired over the scandal, not only knew about Hall’s hookups but joked about it with others in the city.

“Who dat?” Davis allegedly said when shown a vulgar photo of Hall by another cop, Ty McGowan, the investigation found.

“Hall… Lewis [Powell],” McGowan replied.

“He on it again,” the chief quipped.

The ex-top cop also joked about a 13-minute video that allegedly showed Hall masturbating, which was shared among some of the male cops inside the department.

In her lawsuit, Hall claimed that her encounters began with an affair she had with Powell, and led to others in the department targeting her until she gave in to their sexual advances.

“I know what most people are saying,” she said during her first public comments about the scandal in March 2023. “You know, ‘You could’ve said no.’ I get it. But my response to them is I did say no and [Powell] wouldn’t take for an answer. Eventually, I gave in from pressure.”

Hall’s lawyer, Wesley Clark, said last year that the young ex-cop never had a chance.

“Maegan wasn’t looked at like a rookie cop to be trained and promoted,” Clark said. “She was looked at like a piece of meat to be sexualized and exploited.”

Officials in La Vergne did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Post.

Hall blamed her randy behavior on a troubled marriage.

Despite La Vergne’s decision to settle the suit, one board member refused to sign off.

“What message does that send to all the other employees?” city Alderman Dennis Waldron wrote in a dissenting vote, according to WTVF.

“It’s sending a message out to everybody in the world [that says] come to La Vergne, sue La Vergne because they’re going to settle,” Waldron said.

Surprised her husband is still with her. Something tells me he's plotting a divorce to try and get some of that money.
