And so the character assasination of Cliven Bundy Begins!!!!!

Top news on google. Never made it to the top even when the guns were drawn in the standoff. The liberal media will ignore you unless they can destroy you.

They desperately need a spokesman savvy enough to handle the media bastards.

All he had to say was Article 1 Sec 8 Clause 17 when the CNN acnhor told him that the Consitution was on the BLM's side. That's it. He's not savvy enought to deal with these professional smear merchants.

Your ignorance is much more insulting.

We are all slaves for the bankers.

"None are so hopelessly enslaves as those who falsely believe they are free."

Just because there exists a famous quote about something does not mean that the brutality of slavery in America was worse than our current welfare state for those living under it.

Would you rather live on tax-payer largess, or pick cotton on a plantation and be whipped, raped, or killed at the whim of the person who owned you?

so now we're arguing over the different levels of slavery...

the doc sez, ''tell me if this hurts''.....pain is pain...but its still pain.

Yep, a throwback to the good ol' days in which human beings were subjugated because they had the audacity to have a different shade of skin.

glad to see you're being so objective this morning. Looks like you got this white guilt figured out. Cliven is not a racist, no matter how much you want it to be true.

Well, it's thread like this that separate the principled members from the 'Yeah, it's slavery, but it's such humane slavery!' trolls.

Be sure and tell all the black tribes in Africa who conquered other tribes and took the people they conquered into slavery. But, perhaps that doesn't fit your meme of making slavery a white thing.

Not sure if you noticed, but this is America and in America slavery was kind of a white thing.

We win nothing by refusing to acknowledge that.

Yeah, you always hear stories about welfare recipients being raped by their masters, locked in hot-boxes, whipped, and sold like farm animals to separate families when they take evil steps towards freedom. You're exactly right, as usual. Welfare is just like slavery.

Are you listening to yourself?

That 'was' indicates you're in denial yourself--and that won't win the cause anything either.

And the liberal talking heads accuse us of living in the past...

print this out, and wipe your ass with it.

Well, you know, if I were choosing a spokesperson for our cause, I would not choose Cliven Bundy. Or anyone from Duck Dynasty either.

Unfortunately, CNN isn't concerned with choosing the best talking heads to present our viewpoint. Quite the opposite, actually.

Did the BLM show up to shoot Bundy's cattle and those opposing them, because of Bundy's beliefs about slavery? If not, why are you falling for the MSM's attempt to change the discussion?

I despise white guilt and the paternalistic horsecrap it causes progressives to spew and I never said anything about Cliven. Just that it is completely insane to implicitly condone slavery by saying welfare is worse. It's just something that doesn't even need to be said, or considered.

It's ok to say that slavery in America was a very bad thing, and that white people did it, and that no one alive today was involved in it so no apologies are owed, nor is any guilt warranted. But actually admitting that it is part of the fabric of our country and that race played a huge role in the lives of many people, and that it still does to a lesser degree today, is just being realistic.

Certainly, MSNBC will ALWAYS play the white-guilt card, and it is infuriating. I didn't mean to imply that I agree with them here.

Sounds like prison to me. Wait a second?

Approximately 12%-13% of the American population is African-American, but they make up 40% of the almost 2.1 million male inmates in jail or prison (U.S. Department of Justice, 2009).[1]

Do you think this is happening because blacks are genetically prone to crime? Hogwash!! They had lower crime rates in the 1930s than their white peers.

This epidemic is occurring in phases:

1. Enable children to be born out of wedlock with welfare incentives
2. Destruction of nuclear family unit ensues
3. Children are deprived of any semblance of historical identity and self-respect without male role model being present
4. Options are limited due to family dysfunctionality & poverty
5. Crime becomes an enticing career choice
6. Incarceration

RINSE/REPEAT GENERATIONALLY.

Sure, looks like slavery to me.
