And so the character assasination of Cliven Bundy Begins!!!!!

I respect Cliven Bundy now more than ever. Im sorry if what he said doesnt fit in with your damned agenda.

I do too. His comments, although politically incorrect, showed that he understands the problem and has a very libertarian agenda. If libertarians run from him now, that's really sickening and shows that we aren't going to accomplish shit as a movement. We have to support our own when the times get tough

Minorities are too mesmerized by the state. A plurality don't care about the 'white man's constitution' or whatever fallacy the MSM told them. Sadly, we are left alone to face off against these unholy forces.

Man it really sucks that I donated to the Bundy effort, eh? Who is this "we"? Did you really think it was a "non-minority" fight or something?

I can't even begin to tell you how ridiculous your statement is, because I would break the forum guidelines in at least three languages doing it.

What should you always do when confronted by cops or government media organs asking questions?

Hah!

That's what I wanted to see! Let's get the real conversation started!

Black leader says Bundy remarks not racist

http://www.wnd.com/2014/04/black-leader-says-bundy-remarks-not-racist/

...

Keyes said that was evident.

“I find it appalling that we basically have a history of the leftist liberalism that wants to extinguish black people by abortion [and] destroying the family structure,” Keyes told WND. “All of these things if you just look at the effects, you would say this was planned by some racist madman to destroy the black community.”

Then when somebody comes along to comment on that damage, the leftists all scream “racism,” he said.

“I think it’s time somebody started to recognize the racism that exists in its effects – the hard leftist ideology using the black community for their sacrificial lamb, for their sick ideology. It’s time we called them what they are,” he said.

“Now it’s racist to point it out.”

The proof is in the pudding. Be angry at your fellow minorities. Not me. The RP/anti-federalist Movement is 95% white sadly. I personally could care less who stands next to me to fight these people but the same story is getting depressing. And I think Bundy is onto something with his observations.

Bundy...I understand what you were trying to say...

You won the battle but you just lost the war...
I hate to say this, but you should probably make a deal with the gov. and end this mess...

No country for old men...

Hell no.

This is worth the fight.

I can take that tact if asked about it during the Q&A, but I'm not going to invite dissent or create an opportunity for the listeners to tune me out during my speech.

As much as I totally understand, I think there are ways you could use this as an opportunity to educate. I guess it depends on how good you are as a communicator. If you have confidence in your ability to shed light on this issue, I think it's worth it. If not, then maybe stick with something else. It really comes down to your circumstances, which is something neither I nor Deb can judge for you. However, don't simply take it for granted that it would be a waste of time to bring up the Bundy ranch.

Uhh, implying that it's a 'negro' issue rather than a general poverty issue is pretty racist.

Everybody knows it affects the black community disproportionately. You know that, I know that. Heck, even the media knows that. We all talk about how welfare affects blacks sometimes, or how the legal system seems to target blacks and minorities. It's not racist just because someone refers to it as a black problem. It IS a black problem. It's a hole that African Americans have been trying to dig themselves out of, and it's a problem that much of the black community remains poor because of the games of the system. If the system was different, things would be different, and that's the main point that Cliven was getting at.

How do I know, you may ask? Well, I recognize that language. My dad used to talk exactly the same way. It's a generational thing, and I noticed how his son also had to come to his aid because younger people understand the sensitivities of this generation.

If someone said "white people are war mongering because they keep voting for John McCain and Lindsey Graham", I would be saying "hold on a minute there Kemosabe"...

Thank you! More context.

Like many old people, he lived during the first great depression. People his age remember it, and will never forget it. Right before the 9:00 minute:

Bundy: "There's no reason we should be in a depression. We're, everyone of us, is anxious to get out and work. Our young people don't even know how to work, because they haven't had the opportunity. There's nobody needing to be on welfare in this land, we've got a job for everybody."

He then talked about abortion, from a non-racial and religious perspective. So it appears that jobs, welfare and abortion were all part of his monologue (without reference to race) before the "controversial" part.

hes 67, that's definitely not Great Depression era, that's 1947 birthyear.
