And so the character assasination of Cliven Bundy Begins!!!!!

FOR IMMEDIATE PRESS RELEASE - BUNDY RANGE WAR - 4-25-14

We are trading one form of slavery for another.

What I am saying is that all we Americans are trading one form of slavery for another. All of us are in some measure slaves of the federal government. Through their oppressive tactics of telling the ranchers how many cows they can have on their land, and making that number too low to support a ranch, the BLM has driven every rancher in Clark County off the land, except me. The IRS keeps the people of America in fear, and makes us all work about a third or a half of the year before we have earned enough to pay their taxes. This is nothing but slavery from January through May. The NSA spies on us and collects our private phone calls and emails. And the government dole which many people in America are on, and have been for much of their lives, is dehumanizing and degrading. It takes away incentive to work and self respect. Eventually a person on the dole becomes a ward of the government, because his only source of income is a dole from the government. Once the government has you in that position, you are its slave.

I am trying to keep Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream alive. He was praying for the day when he and his people would be free, and he could say I’m free, free at last, thank God I’m free at last! But all of us here America, no matter our race, are having our freedom eroded and destroyed by the federal government because of its heavy handed tactics. The BLM, the IRS, the NSA--all of the federal agencies are destroying our freedom. I am standing up against their bad and unconstitutional laws, just like Rosa Parks did when she refused to sit in the back of the bus. She started a revolution in America, the civil rights movement, which freed the black people from much of the oppression they were suffering. I'm saying Martin Luther King's dream was not that Rosa could take her rightful seat in the front of the bus, but his dream was that she could take any seat on the bus and I would be honored to sit beside her. I am doing the same thing Rosa Parks did--I am standing up against bad laws which dehumanize us and destroy our freedom. Just like the Minutemen at Lexington and Concord, we are saying no to an oppressive government which considers us to be slaves rather than free men.

I invite all people in America to join in our peaceful revolution to regain our freedom. That is how America was started, and we need to keep that tradition alive.

Cliven D. Bundy

I sure hope you all are putting as much effort into helping Liberty candidates win their primaries in less than two weeks as you are putting into arguing over Bundy's comments.

Sayeth the Goldwater of 38 percent of the vote and 52 electoral votes. Should I quote the words of wisdom of Alf Landon as well?

Right or wrong the BLM came to enforce a federal court order. Since my convictions don't include rebellion, I will say they include "love", which as you all know was the middle of the word Revolution in the first place. That's why I got involved. Not to join the Weather Underground which is where all of you are headed.

No we're not. Why do you think that? Who in these forums has suggested violence? Answer the question. You're just pissed because we're not willing to acquiesce to the MSM's character assassination of Bundy.

Or they're just cowards, buckling under political correctness.

So what if I went around calling women that disagreed with me cunts on the forum. Would you calling it buckling under political correctness if lots of people denounced me for using such a work? or even if I got booted off the forum? Political correctness is not everything but we should be careful what we say and try to selectively pick our words so we do not offend people for no reason.

How many of those candidates defending Bundy?

Everyone has a role to play in the cause of liberty. And it requires a multi-pronged approach. But yeah, we need to do what we can, and that includes donating what we can.

True, but that only applies if you believe Bundy is a racist. I don't. And most clear thinking people who have listened to the clip in its entirety, don't either. But more to your point, viciously insulting someone is never a good policy, and it works against whatever point you were trying to make.

People need to learn to get thicker skin. If I got a dollar for every time someone on this forum said something derogatory or inflammatory at me, I would be rich.

Being PC stymies the 1st amendment-- plain and simple.

Naive. We live in a police state where half the country would be happy with a totalitarian regime. Love of freedom is the only love that can counter that for the same reasons our ancestors rebelled against British rule. Had they not prevailed we would be a nation of serfs. If you fall behind on your property tax does an armed contingent show up to collect? Is that what you would like to see?

Did you forget the 1st Amendment? You guys don't care about liberty, seriously.

I don't advocate limiting Cliven's right to speak. I don't even think he should be shamed. I do not think he's the kind of person I'd want to associate with, and I think that he is politically toxic. We'd all be better off discussing the real issue, and not him. He neither requires nor deserves our defense. Let him say odd, backward, foolish things, while we focus on the real battle.

I'm not defending the man for anything other than the abuse the Federal government is raining down on his head. Whatever he has said before or will say in the future has nothing to do with this.

Are you suggesting that people with racist views should have their land confiscated? Should no one try to stop that from happening?

You've got to be kidding me. No, I am not suggesting that. In fact, I'm suggesting that we should freaking admit this guy is.... odd.... and probably racist or at least a serious bigot, and in spite of that, resist the federal tyranny storming against him.

The Weathermen won.

The means by which Bundy is now being crucified, were the result of Weatherman thinking and influence.

Their theories on race and entitlement now set the tone and frame the debate.

Anti-imperialism, anti-racism, and white-skin privilege

Weather maintained that their stance differed from the rest of the movement at the time in the sense that they predicated their critiques on the notion that they were engaged in "an anti-imperialist, anti-racist struggle".[35] Weather put the international proletariat at the center of their political theory. Weather warned that other political theories, including those organizing around class interests or youth interests, were "bound to lead in a racist and chauvinist direction".[35] Weather denounced other political theories of the time as "objectively racist" if they did not side with the international proletariat; such political theories, they argued, needed to be "smashed".[36][37]

Members of Weather further contended that efforts at "organizing whites against their own perceived oppression" were "attempts by whites to carve out even more privilege than they already derive from the imperialist nexus".[35] Weather's political theory sought to make every struggle an anti-imperialist, anti-racist struggle; out of this premise came their interrogation of critical concepts that would later be known as "white privilege". As historian Dan Berger writes, Weather raised the question "what does it means to be a white person opposing racism and imperialism?"[38]

Let me make a couple of points

1. The liberal media didn't make this about race, Bundy did. The welfare state gives benefits, kills jobs, and creates dependency equally for poor people of all races.

2. Slavery doesn't instill anyone with a work ethic because there is no incentive to work harder, even if they did learn how to work there was no benefit to working harder

3. Slavery was absolutely bad for families, they broke them up

4. Even now in this shit storm of an economy 10% of the African Americans are collecting unemployment benefits. That's not good, but it is hardly a widespread epidemic.

I have no plans to be careful what I say, although I am not given to making unprovoked statements meant to malign people generally, I reserve the right to say anything I damned well please. I will not contribute to supporting speech and thought censorship. Now if I do say something to someone and they find it offensive then it's on me to deal with any fallout from that but that would be between me and that person.
