When the NSA scandals first broke, people were initially up in arms over it. Now a week later the polls show most Americans support the NSA programs, or are so inept they don't even know what they are. If you look on Google News all of the sudden all the commentators who once thought the NSA programs were awful, all of the sudden support them and call for the immediate arrest of Snowden. Almost every commentary piece now is an attack on people who support the Constitution and Privacy. Here is a small list of the ones I read just this morning:

-So righteous, so wrong: Edward Snowden's deeply misguided crusade
-Edward Snowden broke the law: Opposing view
-Rand Paul’s misguided case against the NSA
-Stay calm and let the NSA carry on

It just bugs me how completely brainwashed liberal Americans are, agreeing with the same laws they chastised under Bush. You could install a camera in every Americans house to spy on them and they would be perfectly fine with it. On the flip side, the Neocons continue to show they are a bunch of Rove influenced corpratist thugs whom also have no thoughts of their own. Ugh

When Rand takes it to the Supreme Court, people may turn back toward the light.

Plus, you have to consider that the polls themselves are propaganda.

Bi-Partisan tyranny.

But keep in mind, the week that passed.

That is about how long it takes to get The System's propaganda pump primed and working.

You're falling for the establishment media spin. People do not support it. LOOK at their polls yourself, question 3 in WaPo and Rasmussen's. People are hugely against PRISM/BI. They're just spinning the headlines from the polls specifically the carefully worded question 1 in WaPo's

It really is enough to depress the shit out of you, isn't it? Sometimes I think liberty is on a roll, then whack!, the empire strikes back. The thing is to not let the bastards wear you down. They have a propaganda machine built that would make Hitler and Stalin jealous.

Corporate media are in panic mode and are just throwing bunk polls out. Doesn't mean people support this. They do NOT.

I heard on NPR yesterday that it was two "conservative" IRS managers who were responsible for scrutinizing tea party tax-exempt requests, purportedly trying to avoid some sort of unnamed "precedent"...gotta love WH spin.

"The system" is still attacking black scary flip-up thingies...

Interesting the first link is written on an opinions page but the author doesn't have his name anywhere in the article.

The second article is written by Steven Bucci. Steven is the former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, Homeland Defense and Americas' Security Affairs. He served under Rumsfield. He is also a pretty decorated war vet and was SF. He now works for IBM as " IBM's Issue Lead for Cyber, and a part of the Global Leadership Initiative"

The third is written by Charles Lane. A Harvard/Yale Grad. The only point of interest is he is the editor of "The New Republic" I think he just wrote a hit piece on Rand just to receive some hits.

The fourth is done by Max Boot. He is a CFR member/journalis, writer/editor of Christian Science Monitor and WSJ,

Yeah, when Hitler & Stalin did these things, it was horrendous. Our government? It's just for our safety.

1. Look at who's conducting the polls
2. Look at how the poll questions are asked
3. It's doesn't matter who votes, but who counts the votes... Joseph Stalin

FINALE: Former CIA director William Casey, “We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false.”
