When he talks about the dollar the American people are like huh? but it needs to be said hopefully some of them will wake the fuck up!

Dont be afraid, be certain. His monetary answer to the price of oil was the most logical and well thought out answer of the debate. I sat watching with several of my friends and I had to pause the DVR and explain how the price was consistant with the price of gold but had risen compared to a relatively strong currency (the british pound) and has really risen compared to the US dollar. His biggest issue is that he is highly intellegent and he does most of his talking with other highly intellectual individuals. When you practice against the intellegent you get used to not having to fully explain your position because they are well informed and are already understanding the direction that you are taking well before you get there. Also, he thinks about three things at the same time, yet doesnt fully explain any of them. He needs to limit his answers to a couple of ideas and fully explore them in a dumbed down manner so Joe sixpack can understand.

I think NH residence are a step above the average population in intelligence. But don't quote me on that.

I thought his reference to the WSJ article was digestible for the common man.

He mentioned a WSJ chart that shows that oil is up 350% in terms of dollars, 200% in terms of the Euro, and flat in terms of gold.

I think that was perfectly executed on his part. If the common man can't digest that, there truly is no hope, lol.

This is the ONLY reason we are not winning. People are not intelligent enough. Hopefully we can wake them up. CFR, Federal Reserve, Falling dollar etc etc

I think you're right in part, but the broad public knows about the decline of the dollar know and nobody else mentions it.
so it might be a plus to say it.

don't be arrogant. there are well-intended and intelligent globalists.

We are Americans. It's our job to how them the way. It's not that they are stupid, they are just uninformed.

The nice thing is guys like Jay-Z are making this known to my younger friends. An engineer at work is 23 and he totally gets it. Jay-Z talks about how he only wants to get paid in Euros in his contracts.

Jay-Z for Treasury Secretary :)

people on this very board are commenting on how they didnt understand his answer to healthcare and thinks he sounded silly for fitting his entire platform into that one answer.

The reality is, its all interrelated and you cant solve one issue in a vacuum. i think i understood his point on that question well enough, brought in inflation and monetary policy and brought some stats on board as well.

What i would agree is that it would do him very well to sell himself a bit by reminding people hes the only DOCTOR on stage? and that hes been in congress and he served for his country. Without people knowing those sides of him, they can agree with what he says (given they understand) but they cant connect with him or gain respect for his character.

However, when you have a majority percentage of the population in the middle of the country who vote on no other issues besides what their sunday ministers tell them to (which is religion and abortion) then what the f*** do we expect of this country? Why the hell else can we explain bush's 2nd elected term? If people cant wisen up to any form of intelligence within their politics then the people, as a whole, deserve exactly the shit politicians they get, year after year after DECADES!

I was going to post the same thing - I'm worried too.

I have a bad feeling in my gut that America is too stupid to see the truth of his message. UUUGGGHHH - so frutrating!

No question the people have been dumbed down, but it's social engineering that's the culprit. Thanks to the Dept. of Education that's controlled by foundations, we have a collectivist ideology instead of individualist...

It's not only America. Unfortunately politics, especially economics, are very complex and most people are not educated in them. You have to adapt to that. Ron sometimes overloads his message. To put war, taxes, monetary politics (most people haven't heard of this before) and health care in two sentences is just too much. The average brains is going on TILT. Paul has to adapt and make his message more simple for debates like this. He can say more in 1-on-1 interviews.

Completely agree. He needs to explain things as if he was teaching high school economics.

His answer on the price of oil/gas was excellent but it shouldn't have stopped at -

"it's not the price of oil going up, it's the price of the dollar going down"

He needs to explain clearly HOW and WHY the value of the dollar goes down.

If he had done that he would've hit a Home Run on that question.

The Zombie Disease can be frustrating, but if we don't start giving the American people credit for having the at least the potential to WAKE UP, we might as well pack up and head to our bunkers.

You sure are ignorant. Any respectable minister does not talk about politics.

I feel that way at times too. I have some faith though. When I come here, and watch the numbers grow here and meetup, that's when the light shines through. The growth is exploding. People are waking up.
