Hows this sound?

Good idea?

All I know is, if for any reason Ron Paul's name is not on the presidential ballot in November, I will write it in.

Screw Diebold :D

Then I would say they weren't really RP supporters. They never "got it" to begin with.

A true RP supporter, one who has awoken from the Matrix, can never again go back to voting for the lesser of 2 evils.

QFT. I think part of the reason the board has settled down is we don't have those socialists parading around pretending they understand Liberty and attempting to hijack the Freedom Train for their own agenda.

My guess is most of the Kookinich supporters have moved on to Obama as the "flavor of the week".

It's too early in the rEVOLution for the "fad" players. We'll need them later, when we get closer to our goals, and they'll be ready for a new fad by then.

Not interested in a write-in. These type of votes are not counted or reported unless Ron Paul himself registers in each state as an official write-in candidate. It's a total waste. I will find a suitable third party candidate to vote for instead, if Ron Paul isn't on any ticket as President or VP.

Writing Ron's name in. I can say I tried, and I need my complaining rights.

No one else deserves my vote.

do an actual write in, dont just "write it in", that does not accomplish anything except for you to feel cool about saying "I am so down with ron paul I wrote in his name!" but does it count for anything????

official doesn't mean anything anymore I guess.

They're more honest about write-in votes in my state--they even admit they don't count them. I'll be circulating the petition this summer. If Dr. Paul is to win the G.O.P. nomination this summer, I feel sure one reason will be that we got him on the ballots of enough state with or without them to demonstrate that we're serious about splitting the conservative vote.

What's an official write-in?

That is correct. Here in Michigan a candidate needs to file a Declaration of Intent by a certain deadline.
I have written to the campaign asking if they have done this or plan to have it done before the deadline and have not received an answer.

There are some states (about 7 of them, I think) that do not allow for write-in votes. Those state election laws would have to be changed before the election and time may be too short for that to happen.

I would be pissed to have to write-in Ron Paul, U.S. of A President and then not have it count. But I will do it. I will not give my vote to another. I will vote to show my stand for liberty.
