Pretty much everyone knows at this point that Romney will take the GOP nomination, AND probably win the General Election..

There is no way Romney would win the General Election. No way. Clinton would kill him with her campaign machine and Obama would just beat him ,without any effort, over Iraq.

Only Paul can show up the democrats , thanks to his views and record on Iraq and civil liberties (ie The Patriot Act)

Hillary will destroy any of the Republican candidates, with the possible exception of Paul. After 8 years of Bush this country is fed up. They are not ready for another wolf in wolf's clothing. They want a wolf in sheep's clothing and Hillary fits the Bill.

I think Paul would probably gain a lot of support if/when Thompson drops out. A lot of people who don't know much about Paul, even neocons, see Thompson as the only real conservative candidate, and if he drops out they will be very reluctant to embrace one of the others. I think they'd be wide open to a real conservative like Ron Paul.

I think strategically speaking, we should all be hoping for a Huckabee win.. Huckatard is NOT A NATIONALLY VIABLE candidate..

John McCain IS.. Huckatard will show well in only a few states... McCain can show well in most/all states if the MSM gets behind like they are right now.

In a perfect world.. Hucks/fred wins.. mcCain takes third.. but since that wont happen.. Pray for a McCain second.

If Hucks takes first, the conservative branch of the GOP will destroy him
