Mexican president responds to Trump via Twitter video

He's turning all stateside Mexican consulates into immigrant 'rights' advocacy centers
offering free legal assistance to fight deportation..
and calling for (just shy of) solidarity and resistance by
groups of 'supporters' and sympathizers.

Is this the leader of a foreign country calling for insurrection?

Mexico doesn't believe in walls? Don't they have one on their southern border?

Nieto has cancelled his meeting. Mexico is not going to pay for wall.

we spend 115 billion plus on immigration issues....the wall is around 50 billion.

you do the math.

Looks like two governments pitting human against human instead of laying down power and losing control.

Easy to imagine. lol ;)

$115M. What does that include? All the services they get? Medical? Cost of care for kids born here? Forgone taxes not paid and on and on and on. We spent $10T in Iraq with nothing to show for it. McConnell is seeking $12-15B for the wall.

They ain't going to write a check to Uncle Sam, that is correct.

But there is plenty of ways we can make it happen:
  1. Confiscate all monies getting wired from US to Mexico. Or at least a percentage (like 28%)
  2. Reduce foreign and military aid by about $50 billion
  3. Steal all their wimmins

just to name a few.

He, I think intentionally, tip toed around it by saying migrants. He never specified legal or illegal. Having his consulates support illegals does voilate american sovereignty. If he wanted to Trump could move against Mexico within the bounds of international law over Mexico supporting illegals in the US. I think pushing this twitter flame war into the real world is dangerous and they both should quit it.

A war with mexico would get the border secured faster than imaginable. I read on another site this might push Mexico to invite China to build bases there.

I always did think Mexico had some nice land for the US to take.

We might have to build that wall further south than originally planned.

He's got my support.
