Why does the value of the DOW keep bouncing around after the markets close?

after hours trading.

Even though the DOW tanked...plenty of gains out there. TONS and OKN pushed me past 15% up for the day. I think a crash is more than a bunch of headline stocks tanking, IMHO. Not to say that it's not coming, but I just don't think it's here yet.

lol, every minor uptick does not mean the gov't is manipulating the market.

There are alot of people who think the market is bottoming out, and are trying to get in at a good price. And you really cant blame them if you look at the history of the market.

That falling knife cuts a lot of hands, doesn't it?

As to the person who asked why we are cheering a crash. Hopefully a complete crash will wake this country up and we can start over.

As for my family and friends. I have around 100 acres of land in the middle of nowhere. Alot of seed for planting. Good hunting ground. Many underground and above ground water sources. I could care less if Joe Shmoe on Wall st. jumps out a window.
