Afterwards I saw news bimbo / establishment hack Trish Regan claiming that Rubio was actually making sense there, and that a strong military is vital to the economy.

Thats because dear follow American your wars are the only thing that keep your fictional economy from crashing to the bottom. Of course more military spending would not mean more created jobs but the resources that your gov steals from poor nations from those that you invaded they keep the economy flowing, but for how long?

One of the no-fly zone areas they propose is the southern border...which is shared with Iraq.
Iraq has ASKED russia to fly there.
So if we put in a no-fly zone where flying has been requested, that is disaster in multiple countries.

I did, that's why I'm questioning what Rand is saying.
No, the proposed no-fly zone is along the norther border with Turkey.
The southern border is along Jordan. The eastern border is along Iraq.
Iraq has not requested any assistance from the Russian airforce. Russia is not flying in Iraq at the moment. They are flying missions in Syria at the request of the Syrian government.
I agree, but the no-fly zone has been proposed for Syria, not Iraq.
