All Missourri Caucus goers PLEASE READ! URGENT

If this is the case then the delegates will get thrown out in MN where the RP delegates are trying to change the binding process.

actually they may not...... they may be censured but wil probly not recieve the 50% cut because of the date they held the caucuses... The delegate removal is the punishment for holding binding contests outside the scheduled dates..... changeing the binding process is not specified on what the punishment is but I have never heard of it costing dellegates even though Ive heard binding changes happening before (florida actually took two rules violation... for there second one they got "less desirable seating and hotel accomodations)

So MN would probly be unscathed in the long run.... just wont be at the ritz or will be in the nose bleeds ;)

EDIT: of course the GOP may censure any way they like... if a Ron Paul friendly state sends in paper work on the wrong color paper they could reduce the delegates 50%..... in the service of the vengeful elephant gods

Theyll come back with that any idividual caucus can choose delegates any way they choose.... so we counter with the propsal

"all delegates of this caucus should be bound to a non-binding internet poll done on ronpaulforums.com in 2008 (insert favorite poll if thats too ridiculous)" if they challenge it then they must challenge the other counties. Watch them spin the "that will be a good starting point" line after that!

okay do not do this

The fact remains the national party would be forced to do this since other states were penalized for the same thing (delegates are chosen at conventions but are bound to the primary) if they do not then they must seat ALL delegates from the other states (the point can be made at national convention and trust me.... sc nh fl and any others i forget will vote to censure or seat but would vote for both rule changes, most other states would vote to not seat the delegates to begin with cause it wasnt fair to them to have missouri get an early say AND not penalyzed.... enough were mad they held the non binding primary to make a statement)

that would be our argument, but the argument that this is just the way they were selected would be the other side, and they rarely need much excuse (or any) to rule against us. But in the end, all we can do is follow the rules and film and publicize the results.

Well... south carolina.... heres how you get your delegates back

At your convention move the primary was non-binding and that the convention will choose the delegates... but you will base it off of the primaries vote total.... this is 100% what is being done in missouri and if missourri stand SC (my state) deserves all ther Newt delegates

PS Romney wont like that cause it raises his needed delegate total and he cant get them cause there already pledged to Newt. (benefit us..... goes brokered)

Gym is filing up in st charles, I think well pull this out but old ppl are starting to show up with newt and romney buttons. there are fewer santorum ppl than I imagined

My caucus isn't until 1:30 today. My RP operatives are advising NOT to wear RP logos. Evidently, we are going for the low profile strategy which is just as well with me.

This is academic.... i am not suggesting this be done cause it would require far to much organization but I wanted to see what peoples thoughts are:

IF romney looks like he would win an individual caucus you could ask to bind the delegates to the primary, then at the county level challenge that decision and ask half there delgates to the county be removed. Basically mitigating a Romney surge (this is all within the rules but i think is on par with maine shenanigans)

edit: if your wondering why I come up with these ideas so quickly.... I use to be a part of the GOP machine..... I know how to find weaknesses in the system. I left the whole thing 10 years ago because of being disgusted by the actions of people we helped get elected

I know for a fact that at least 3 veteran election judges in Illinois were dismissed from duty this primary election for no stated reason. They were told only there positions were full. They've held these posts for 4 years or more. Doesn't exactly work like that to be appointed or dismissed as an election judge in Illinois.

My dad is in the middle of his caucus now and they selected the # of delegate based on the percentage of how many showed up to the caucus.
Santorum got 20 (about 95 supporters)
Paul got 9 (about 45 supporters)
Neut got 4 (about 20 supporters)
Romney got 4 (about 20 supporters)

Granted this is only 37 out of 2000 statewide. But I was glad to hear the chairman didn't try and bind them all to Santorum.
Personally I think this was actually a really fair way to do it.

Oh and dad is a Santorum delegate
He was suprised at the number of Paul people.
