Except that Kokesh would never make it out of Libertarian Partyville w/ more than half a percent and if I had no better options, I'd definitely vote for him. OTOH, Rand has the best shot at the big house that we've ever had and those that choose to sit this one out for whatever reason will be guilty of A) flipping the bird at Ron, B) making no effort at a better foreign policy that would kill a LOT less people and hopefully none, so complicit in mass murder by not lifting a finger against it. Respect goes to those that aren't paying taxes but if you still don't advocate against the machine in a political way, then you're leaving it up to others that are opposed to liberty and life in general to carry the day. Again, I'm making a general statement.I'd vote Kokesh before Rand Paul any day, and in doing so preserve what remains of my tattered conscience. Would a Rand Paul administration be superior to a Bush of Obama? Yeah, but that is a wide spectrum.

Great to see Jones coming over, even if I don't agree with his conspiracies. Kokesh is a lost cause.

He likes money and expanding his audience to the Trumpkins will get him truckloads of Federal Reserve notes.And.... Now Alex likes trump.
And.... Now Alex likes trump.
Sometimes I really like Alex Jones, but I think that is because he is such a good shill.
I have read reports and seen videos which explain how he is an agent (controlled opposition), and after studying more about him, I have come to believe it.
Meh, it's possible, controlled opposition is a great strategy but I haven't seen any really good evidence. Just because he is trying to make money isn't bad, when your business makes money it allows you to expand.
He said one of the reasons he has been convinced to support Trump is his 13 year old son Rex is obsessed with him, always showing him youtube videos and articles. From an Alex Jones perspective, the media really is constantly lying about Trump, mischaracterizing his statements and seemingly trying to bring him down using dishonest tactics. If Trump is an enemy of the media, and the media is my enemy.....
There are a lot of really bad things about Trump, I fully admit he could be the next Hitler with his immigration plans.. but he also sees that there are people in power and policies in place that are actively destroying our country - he has made some very good comments on the Federal Reserve and artificially low interest rates - he is at least acting like an outsider - I have no idea if he is doing this to get Hillary into office or whether he really means it, but I can see the appeal he has for some people.
All this 'Alex Jones is a shill' because he isn't the loudest supporter of Rand talk is just BS. Alex has had Ron on his radio show since the 90's and has pushed his audience to support Ron for a long time now. Rand has also been on his show even before he considered running for Senate. I am disheartened at Rand's milquetoast approach, he simply is playing the 21st century game with 20th century rules. He comes off as a 'politician' and assumed that his dad's unfiltered approach was why he can't get elected so he just went full on nuanced and comes off as forgettable.
I push Rand hard on all my family and friends but it is a lot more effort than it was with Ron Paul because there's this disconnect. I actually don't doubt Trump's intentions are good and real, although he is pompous, egomaniacal, narcissistic, and potentially an authoritarian. BUT, honesty and having no filter count for a lot these days because people are SICK of 'politicians', which sadly Rand is coming off as. I'm sure Alex agrees with most of us on policies and is rooting for Rand, but like many of us is disheartened with Rand's strategy of trying to be everything to everybody. Ron stood hard as a rock on principle whereas Rand seems overly malleable, which is just not as appealing, to the republican, and especially the Libertarian base.
What part of sponsored content don't you understand? He sells snake oil, the only reason why most of us ever listened to this guy is because he was sympathetic to the presidential campaign. Now it looks like he is completely pay to play though. So he is not "controlled opposition" he is just a political mercenary that peddles his air time to the highest bidder. Then you bring it in that we are questioning Rand's intentions. No we are questioning this poison pill selling political propaganda mercenary. I don't pretend to know your intentions but you sort of left me with the feeling you think Rand is doing this for the wrong reasons. What I am telling you is Rand could make a lot more money being a corrupt politician like Marco Rubio or Ted Cruz.
The ad I saw was for vitamin D... most of the population is vitamin D deficient and I take vitamin D supplements regularly and am able to ward off a lot of sicknesses that other people at my work get (many of whom get flu shots).
What product in particular do you believe is snake oil? Can you name two maybe? I'm pretty sure most of the products he sells are effective in one way or another - I've never purchased anything from the Alex Jones store before, but it seems most of the stuff legitimately has some uses. It may be a little pricey, but if you support AJ and his cause, then I guess it's not a bad way to donate to the show.
One product you might mention is silver. I happen to supplement with that as well, on occasion, but I don't buy it regularly myself. The thing is, a lot of his listeners were ALREADY buying that particular product from other suppliers, and they believe it works. It's good to get this product from a trusted source, so providing his listeners with a trusted source isn't all that bad.
