Yep, its status quoville. Alaska voted yes to move the capital from Juneau years ago but the bureaucrats there refused to do it.

All I can say is voters don't do their research, and since the media has either Romney or Santorum on at any given time, people pick one or the other. Visiting neighborhoods and stumping in town halls would be the best way to spread the word for someone like Ron Paul since the media won't have him on for longer than 5 mins at a time on any given Tuesday. Given a complete lack of coverage for Ron, I'd say these results are pretty friggin amazing.
