Alaska Dispatch: How did Ron Paul lose Alaska?

GTFOOH. Paul's campaign is alive, well, and amassing delegates at the precinct and county levels. OUR job is to fund the campaign and FIGHT as hard as we can to WIN. Now GTFOOOH if you have nothing to contribute to that effort.

1st- They need to give a delegate number and stop talking about it.
2nd- It is dead in the water because right now no one is funding it.
3rd- I have plenty to contribue to the effort (I'm nearly maxed for donations) but i'm not going to continue if they don't show me a reason to.

Other people want a lot, all i'm asking for is their delegate numbers.

At the very least it could give us something to spread, and at the very most the media could pick it up just in the hopes of continuing the rollercoaster (which is the best possible thing for ratings).

Key word highlighted. Claiming fraud when we have no credible evidence in every state where Ron was supposed to do well is highly counterproductive, IMO. In Maine we had facts, and that's fine. In Alaska and North Dakota, we don't.

We have personal testimonies. Compiling all of them is enough to let us know.

But for Ron to do that he would obviously need concrete evidence. I have no doubt if this was presented to him or Doug Wead then it would be all guns blazing. But for Ron to simply come out and say this without any evidence would be ludicrous.

They have concrete evidence. They have their exit poll numbers from Alaska, according to the state campaign chairman.

From the comment section....

Odd similarity... They "ran out" of forms in Juneau as well....
Then after delegates were elected and it was apparent that many of the delegates were young people who appeared to be the most likely Ron Paul supporters in the room the District Chair insisted that any delegate to the State Convention needed to pay a $250 convention fee prior to leaving the district convention that night or forfeit the right to be a delegate. Of course the State party rules do not provide for this and several objections were made and the move was finally made in compromise where the delegates were given until noon Thursday to pay.

I'm not claiming fraud. Ron Paul's state campaign chairman is claiming fraud.

They have the facts. Their exit poll numbers do not line up with the GOP's "official" numbers.

Exit polling data is how they prove election fraud in third world countries.

Really? The Ron Paul campaign conducted an exit poll?

Internal polling is not evidence. I worked for a Congressional campaign that conducted internal polling. Our candidate pulled 21% in a 7-way race, good for 2nd place. He ended up finishing 3rd with more like 10%. In fact, internal polls are often released by campaigns to garner support or to generate false momentum. Here's how credible internal polls are: http://thetimestribune.com/elections/x993492805/Grayson-says-internal-poll-shows-him-leading

If a reputable, scientific pollster conducted an exit poll in Alaska that shows Ron winning, I'm all ears.

"the campaign had conducted exit polling across the state and that numbers reported by the state party leaders "didn't jibe."

This is the problem I have with Ron and the campaign. They are not very confrontational at all! Could you imagine is this was Rand's shindig and how he would be reacting to BS like this? He wouldn't be going down quitely that's for sure! I just don't understand why the campaign isn't making a bigger deal out of BS like this and Maine, maybe ND, Iowa, and to some extent Nevada and 2nd place. Rand Paul would be all over this and calling out the frauds for which they are. I'm sorry, but I have always been a we must stick with the party and work from within it until we get the change we want, but at this point I think the middle finger needs to be given to them and Ron run third party so they can get what they deserve. I know he wouldn't win a third party run any more than he would win a republican primary, but at least he'd prevent the dirty GOP from winning anything. Hell, I'd even have Rand run third party once his term is up in 2016 just to flip them the bird once more. I know I'm angry right now and not speaking logically, but this is pure BS. Not letting Ron win even one flippin state is a tradegy!

Stated differently: If you charged someone with fraud in a court of law, and your brother's testimony was the only evidence you presented, how many times do you suppose you'd win?

Comments are a must read.

One of those:

and another example;

"I can tell you exactly how Romney won. The same way he won last time. If you look at the areas in the state that were actually allowed to vote (because the rest of the state is geographically hindered) you will see that the main concentration and even where the polling was held is an area that has thousands of registered Mormon voters. It is a little known fact that from the southern most part of the road system to the Palmer and Wasilla area, there are literally thousands of Mormons. While much of Alaska is not allowed to vote because it's residents are geographically hindered. Four years ago I went to vote in my village where voting is held during any other election (Governor, Senator, etc) only to find that unless I was able to fly 2 hours there was no place for me or any other registered Republican to vote. I contacted the RNC at that time only to be told that the RNC had dropped the ball in Alaska. Well they have done it again and those of us that live in Rural Alaska unless, we can get to a district headquarter are deprived of our right to vote. Which would not be a problem except for us our district headquarter is hundreds of miles away with no road to get there. Of course the RNC is not concerned since they have there own agenda and that is to get their man whoever that is into office."

Sounds suspicious to me.

The fraud in Alaska would have to have been large and fairly easy to detec., Ron lost by, what 8%, that is alot different than 1 to 2%

If we have the solid proof, the Alaska Campaign Manage needs to document it fast and release it to us all by the weekend. Time is of the essence when this claim is being made.

It's sad when people have so much distrust in the very same people that fight the same battle we're fighting.

Note: I just noticed that the state campaign chief Evan Cutler posted in the comments on the article saying he was misquoted.

I agree that is the key word. I am noting there are allegations. Now we see what develops.

thanks.

People should read that comment. The campaign chair is saying he didn't personally see any of that he was just reporting tales he had been told by others, that deserved looking into, and some other stuff. He seems to thing the article took beginning stages of looking into something and jumped to the conclusion of fraud, and put that word in his mouth, a bit.

What is concrete evidence?

Multiple video tapes of the Alaskan GOP chairman showing 3 forms of ID clearly to the camera while shredding and burning Ron Paul votes and leaving behind DNA in the form of bodily fluids that was verified by multiple, independent labs? ;P

A lot of people show up at the Paul rallies, but I don't think all of them know how to vote or when to vote. Paul should always mention this at the end of the speech and tell the folks how/when to vote. The folks will then carry that idea with them and may actually show up and vote. But here is RP who thinks it's sacrilege to tell anyone what to do because of his libertarian ideals and just gives the same speech and walks off. He should specifically court votes. Others do, and they win.

Ron does. The guy who introduces him does. They have people signing people up outside. They really do do this, at least lately.

We all know that fraud is going on. The campaign needs to hire professionals to go over the numbers and inconsistencies that we are finding in the two 1,000+ post threads.

He has a history of it though. In liberty defined he states point blank that he had his election robbed via vote fraud in the 70's.
