AL/CA/IA/MS/MT/NJ/NM/SD Election Day Thread - 6/3

Thoughts on "Tea Party" candidate Chris Mitchum to replace Lois Capps (D) in CA?

Lois Capps is not great on civil liberties and pretty bad on gun rights, but has actually done some voting against wars and stuff, I don't think it's been across the board though.

I got to ask the same question to Will Brooke today and threw in a question about NDAA as well. He said nay on the pat-act and dodged the NDAA question; he did say that Snowden was "a little hero and a little traitor; a hero for blowing the whistle, a traitor for how he did it."

Going into the vote tomorrow, I'm really comfortable supporting Scott Beason.

23 people had voted in my precinct as of 12:30pm. I've heard things are also pretty slow in Dem Moines today. Pretty low turnout overall in Iowa it.

Another precinct, which usually has good turn out in my county, had only 54 voters as of 3pm.

While I'm not invested in either, according to Politico, MacArthur's got an early start on Lonegan so far.

I don't really care; I'm on the ground and engaged in the district and Beason is my guy.

You aren't an educated voter. You don't even look into Chad Mathis' positions. This is how establishment shills who pretend to be conservative win elections.

The name tells us all we need to know!
Potts doesn't get my vote so much because he is against the drug war but because on every issue he generally writes to the local paper and states his opinion and who he is voting for. Always constitutional and supported RP since 2007

That's a pretty ridiculous statement. He's actually been asking questions of the candidates while all you do is ask other orgs what your opinion should be.

Race called for MacArthur over Lonegan. Can't say I'm too surprised about that one when the state Party doesn't even back you.

He said he knew nothing about Mathis' positions except on Obamacare.

Rep. Steve Palazzo is loosing, lol. That's what happens when you vote like a RINO and, in turn, receive no support from truly conservative groups.

McDaniel's precincts are coming in and the race has tightened considerably to a one point difference.
