After two weeks and deep consideration, my opinion stands: We need organization ASAP.

I don't want to be a "general" or the administer of any site. I want to see someone, a webmaster, someone good with web design, produce a website that covers all of Ron Paul's supporters' grassroots projects, events, and deadlines. That's all, the only thing I want to do is to find someone that actually can do it.

I can do it.

The early American Revolutionaries would understand our situation better.
They were only farmers, living in woodlands - who needed to be sharpshooters if they were to eat fowl for supper.

When war broke out, those sharpshooters were the deadliest militia there was.
But they needed to be organized. And the real 'generals' then found a way to do so.

Our situation is no different today. We need local leaders chosen by Dr. Paul.

Precinct captains are just there to watch over the primaries and caucuses, but not to lead.

No, you don't expect the grassroots to function like an organized militia.
But at least, if an individual truly wants to be involved in the Ron Paul revolution in their state, they KNOW where to go and who to talk to.

Right now, we are a mob, and not organized militia.

BTW, boondoggle, I don't think that anything on-line (i.e. Web 2.0 stuff) can be of benefit. Face-to-face will win this race for Dr. Paul.

That's not true. You're setting expectations too high, an individual can "truly" want be involved in the revolution, but not be able to find places in which they can participate.

The best way to define this whole proposal is that it wouldn't replace, it wouldn't complicate, it wouldn't threaten or misinform, but it would simplify- it would be a tool, a medium of grassroots information. There'd be no creepy honor system, I'm afraid. No giving people power or authority over others, only giving people power or authority to grab the site as a tool which can be used to hammer away at everything working against Dr. Paul.

. . . If there are any interested webmasters, please email me.
