Aetna to exit California's individual insurance market

I still don't know how they slammed that legislation down our throats. They had negative to positive support ratios of 10:1 when that stupid legislation was getting passed. uggh.

Its pretty simple. Mr. Magic Bullet theory, once again serving his satanic masters, actually switched Parties so he could cast the deciding vote.

Yet another failure of the free market. The government really needs to step up and do something about this. It's the only way ...

Actually I think that's how this will be viewed. Let's say someone had Aetna insurance and later developed some health issues that were covered. Since Aetna won't sell to them any more they have a "preexisting condition" red flag that every other insurance provider will look out for and either charge a huge premium or simply refuse to cover the patient (I guess the refusal thing goes out the window once Obamacare kicks in). People will say the free market has failed and government needs to do something or has already done the right thing w/ Obamacare. How do you counter? Sure, you can say it's the government's fault that Aetna is pulling out (you probably won't convince many) but what about situations where an insurance provider shutters their business for legitimate market reasons (such as too much competition and feeling the need to exit the field b/c of slim or no profit)?

The politicians know exactly what they are doing, they create a problem, try to solve it, and create an even worse problem; then when it fails its the free markets fault.

Fucking shame.

I had Aetna insurance in Maine for a while, paid for out of pocket.

Was one of the best damn health plans ever.

Until the assholes in Disgusta decided that insurance companies must pay for whole slew of new items, if they were going to do business in the state.

They pulled out, rather than comply.

Within three years there were only three companies in Maine you could get insurance through, one of which was some state run disaster.

I'm not sure what the situation is now, this was over ten years ago.

Last time I checked , over 100 in the US, but only around a dozen available in California.....

I can buy life ins from a Co in any state , auto etc . Health Ins Co,'s should be allowed to offer the policies they have to everyone too .

They could afford to push and push and push. They are using our money against us.

No matter how much hard earned money we can come up with to build our world the way we want, others have the ability to fire up the fake money presses and print up what ever amount it takes to dictate their will.

When the counterfeiters counterfeit, it sucks the life out of everything. EVERYTHING!

Never ever forget, this whole monstrosity is designed to fail, so that after struggling with its stupidity for a few years, Boobus will get on the "single payer government healthcare" bandwagon.

This, of course, is the ultimate goal.
