Advice on making a video???

Hi all... Long time listener to the good Dr., first time here...

I want to put together a video with pictures of supporters, and short video clips... I have the song picked out, it's "Tonight" by Seether... If you have never heard it, check it out... It would go great with pictures of Iraq and pics of sign waving people...

The problem is I have absolutely no idea how to make a video... That is, one with editing done... Does anyone know of a good program to do that???

Ah, okay. Simple enough, start using Windows Movie Maker. It should be installed on both already. It's free, and simple to learn/use, and it's the program I edited videos together with for about 4 years.

windows movie maker sucks..
pinnacle videospin2 is decent
Adobe Premiere Pro is the way to go, if your comp can handle it
Adobe After Affects can create moving video templates with fancy video text if your comp can handle it
Edit your audio separately in an audio recording software to clean it up and add a touch of reverb

The part where the co-host says "Oh my God" in astonishment at Paul's prediction is pretty powerful.

I would try windows movie maker because you can do basic edits with it and it's pretty easy to get started. If you start with some complicated app you'll spend 99% of your time finding out how to do something. So if you don't have anybody teaching you, start with WMM.
