Adventures in campaign miscommunication: Ron Paul has problems coming in first…on Google

A Gary Johnson supporter told me the campaign site used to be ronpaul.com but they changed after they embarassingly offered a rascist book in the book store

lol. Armchair politicos.

In 2008, it was RonPaul2008.com, so not sure what campaign that Johnson would even be talking about. Ask them for a photo, or to shutup.

I emailed the article to Doug Wead. I suggested they put something in the main banner saying something like "Official Campaign Website".

RonPaul.com has never been connected to the official campaign. What racist book was offered?

I'm preeettttyy sure that ronpaul.com was the site that converted me back in 2007/2008.
I love the amount of videos they have on that site and though I haven't spent a ton of time on it recently I remember them explaining Paul's policy positions to be effective.

I didn't go there for a long time because some on this forum cast doubt on their intentions.
But I think its a good site for people to learn about Dr. Paul on ... it was last time I checked anyway.

I've been hoping the official site has gone through a major overhaul every time I visit it to be honest ... its just not that good.

There's such thing as a Gary Johnson supporter?

Holed up in Iowa with the Huntsman supporter. (Good-natured) LOL

Gary's biggest problems: a bland manner and a brand not sufficiently distinguishable from the RP message which currently has much more traction.

I thought he was ok until I heard he made some negative comments about Ron Paul. You don't copy someones ideas and then start criticizing them. Not cool.

I have once seen somewhere on facebook a person that was complaining about some missing info on RonPaul.com (dunno what was it), because he thought it was official RP campaign page. Don't overestimate inteligence of some people. :)

I'm going to agree with blue on this one... I think it is kind of shady to keep ronpaul.com and have its own store and donation page. The "fan site" is the only way you can tell it isn't official and that is easy to overlook. I browsed ronpaul.com for a while thinking it was official until I saw the fan site later on... And I have young eyes and I'm very tech savvy... If my parents went to that site they wouldn't have a clue..

Perhaps it was ronpaulforpresident2008.com for you back then which now can be seen somewhat archived via:

STOP

The infighting between those who defend liberty is a direct injustice to our very cause.
