Do we really want to loose contact with all these people?

I believe it's $78 for 6-8 months. For the cost of a membership, you get 3 Meetup groups. There are various stratagem...

For one, establish a central Meetup (National, State, more local...) and then individually message each member after gaining organizer status. Why? Well, most don't check in as the election is over. I guess I just covered the other reasons. It seems the most cost effective.

You could take it (3) over and keep paying for them them till the next election in 2014 and beyond... or...

guess there are things about making a few contacts and organizing within the groups for a national level org on a grassroots structure... bottom up...

There is also ownership hopping... ataining ownership and then downloading the membership list and letting the group go away qand contacting each one by one....

Diff options... but lets keep what we can of this movement together. Hu?

"Facebook is the new Meetup" - VOMIT!!!!

Each Meetup account MUST be attached to a separate e-mail account. (3 Meetups). I believe that they can be attached to the same payment method. I have more than one.

From what I've seen, when you ask people to move, you loose 75-80% of your user base. Most of our user base is currently not paying attention, but if they are otherwise active on Meetup, we can contact them! Asking them for a e-mail acct for contact next election and no spam might get a better return...

Would anyone like to have a conference call about retaining the remaining Meetups and establishing a network?
