Good ones are taken from us quickly. He was a social liberalism icon on top of being strong champion of Iran war and top donor of Trump's MAGA revolt as well as Iraq war lobbyist Netanyahu/ pro-wars lobby ZOA.
Timing may be coincidence but Trump had ordered flag half mast before this report was leaked to public and MSM is reporting that flag lowering was to honor Capitol officer depite initial delay/refusal to lower flag.
There is no indication of covid being the cause despite some comments above. Neither is this like 2nd amendment/ 1st amendment/NRA/GOP-conservatism/GOP Senate control type situation that may have suffered losses during MAGA term with his hands on approach.
But this crosses the line:
There were reports of trouble in paradise already wrt "follow the money" situation, who knows if MAGA funding was not reduced, the desperate "Stop The Steal" Fund Raising could have not come to tragic end as it has.
Bit surprised historic first FSILOUS who some called "President-in-law" had been left out of this list.
Time will tell but they have plenty other troubles to handle right now after their 'treacherous' leader (incidentally also funded by Adelson) stabbed MAGA in the back at the worst time. With exception of a small far right fringe of its lobbies that has gone quiet, big part of its lobbies appear to be supporting/funding impeachment effort. It's a stunning development, not too long ago Trump's richest top donor ( Adelson's Israeli wife) had called for "Book of Trump" to be added to Bible.
MAGA was in deep treacherous waters, he took money from globalist deep pockets but didn't fully deliver. Chances of any Iran war play to defend our democratic allies in mideast in next 9 days are of course 0% now. And all signs suggest he will be made an example of for a combination of reasons.

It is encouraging that more respectful tone this time compared to some comments here after recent passing of another social liberal icon RGB of SCOTUS.
