Actress Confronts Sean Penn Over His Support for Chavez: 'You're a Communist A**Hole'

Yes, Chavez IS a dictator and he's anti-Capitalist.

I don't see how a Ron Paul supporter can support Chavez.

Some report of socialism in a foreign country not funded by US tax payers is more important than police state dictatorship in the US where guy sitting in the White House can assassinate US citizens without trial now? I don't see how any supporter of Liberty could support this?

TX bill banning TSA from touching “anus, sexual organ, breast” is dead

By supporting McCain's change, that clueless actress is supporting an oppressive police state in America. Next to her, Penn's a God's blessed gift to humanity. May God continue work his hand mysteriously and continue to bless America with people who stand for some principles.

The blind hatred and intolerance for government systems like Venezuela's shown here is similar to the reason why so many people still believe Fox News and won't vote for Paul.

VN is big government out of control. Why would any Ron Paul supporter like it?

Fuck Penn and his liberal Haitian loving communist ass. He supports wicked gun control, yet guess what happened when he had his Grand National stolen several years back? Two registered guns of his were in the car. One rule for him, another for everyone else.

Let me see if I understand you correctly. You not only hate on Penn for being liberal, communist and supporting gun control...but you're hating on him for helping Haiti? Seriously? What the hell is wrong with someone helping Haiti?

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to moderate libertarian again.

Liberal do-gooders make me want to vomit. I don't blame him for sending in money, that's fine. But living there for months in the villages makes him a nut. We all know why he did it, but no one will dare say it.

Ah. So all Christian missionaries are really "liberal do-gooders" and "nuts" as well? I'm thinking of taking my family on a summer vacation mission trip (not this summer, too much campaign stuff to do). I guess I'm really a liberal nut then. Goodness, hate can blind you Zap. Don't give in to it.

It is easy, this not Venezuela. What is right here is not right everywhere else. These are two different countries with two different histories and there are numerous cultural differences as well.

The one thing I don't support is the US meddling in others business and they have done that to a large extent in Venezuela, and it wasn't in the name of freedom and liberty, more like resource hegemony. It is easy to sit here in America and criticize the rest of the world, it seems like all we do anymore. Do you really think US involvement has done more for the average Venezuelan than Hugo Chavez? That is the real question that needs to be answered and aside from more of your propaganda you cannot demonstrate this to be the case. Maybe we should bomb them to make them more like us? Our own government is out of control and corrupt, and you want to criticize Hugo Chavez? How about looking at the past 100 years of your own history and how you voted in the last 5 elections?

Threads like this make it easy to see who is an American imperialist and who is a lover of freedom, among us. The neocons just cannot leave things alone can they and will impose their ideologies, political and otherwise on the rest of the world? To the worlds detriment. Post some more propaganda, it is really disgusting, and it is very revealing.

The Force is strong in this one. Not sure why he cares if someone goes and lives in a Haitian village myself. (Been playing much too much SWTOR lately :p)

As an aside....can we take back the word liberal? I miss it dearly.

No, they are not. But Penn is far from a Christian missionary. And you are not a nut for doing that, but Penn is.

Well sorry no, I'm Hispanic and I know damn well that communism doesn't work in South America.

Peru went through this stage in the late 1970s and it almost destroyed that country. You're showing an ignorance of history, and no one here wants to "intervene" in Venezuela anyway. We have a right to call his policies foolish.

What he ^^^ said, except that I'm not Hispanic and don't want to be accused of false advertising, should it ever matter to anyone.

South America in the 1970s had fascist IMF central banker corporatist governments. That is a huge difference between today's Venezuela and Bolivia government.

People have a hard time here understanding that the big governments in the past collapsed because of the IMF, central banks.

Go look at the governments of Libya under Gaddafi and current Venezuela. They are far different and superior to any IMF central bank controlled government.

Venezuela's government has very little in common with the "Marxist" USSR governments. Small groups of community segments made up of the people themselves directly run a big part of the everyday life of a Venezuela citizen.

No and he didn't say it was. What does that have to do with whether Chavez is a good guy?
