I think today's article on the Activist Post raises very legitimate concerns:

With both Santorum in Iowa and Gingrich in South Carolina we saw very little attendance at their campaign events in the days leading up to the vote. All of a sudden people became energized enough to come out and vote in droves for them?

Aside from a conspiracy, the only reasonable explanation is that casual voters are fickle enough to choose the candidate the mainstream media asks them to.

Most people do not show up to campaign events. Most people decide based on what the media tells them.

its no secret that by this time in history americans are conditioned to buy what is being sold to them by the media. Decades now of social engineering has taken much of the choice out of the equation. Its simply pavlovs dog. Conditioned response. The only thing that can wake people up is a more primitive emotion called fear, intense fear. thats why we are doing better this election after 4 years of obama. Fear is up and so are our numbers. after 4 more years of obama, fear should be sufficient to gain a majority if we survive at all.

It's not strange, it's well established that the media effectively hypnotizes people. Until enough people turn off their TVs for good, they will be subject to that manipulation.

Scalia got it right with his recent comments: "Turn off your TV."

Good advice. I did well over a decade ago and it may well have been the single best decision I ever made.

I think our best chance is that the younger generations are not watching as much TV (and certainly not getting their news from TV), but going online instead.

There is an active conspiracy afoot. Those that choose to deny it, only allow the conspirators to continue with their corruption. Is it any wonder why they continually try to impose Democracy as if it was about real liberty. The founders hated democracies and for good reason!!

We are a Republic!!

"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!"
~Benjamin Franklin

"The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home."
~James Madison

"Our country's founders cherished liberty, not democracy."
~Ron Paul

"The ignorance of one voter in a democracy impairs the security of all."
~John F. Kennedy

Your parenthesized clarifications ruined the joke I was preparing. :(
