About to go on Glenn Beck

I think you'd have more luck not talking about Ron Paul at all. Just talk about how horrible Santorum is.

Ask him if they've read his book and why they're giving him a pass on it, since it's pure progressivism. And talk about his horrible voting record.

What the fuck? Is this 52 billion from the baseline or from proposed increases?

And he's also going to lower taxes. Which means the deficit will jut be even greater --- more money will be borrowed/printed than ever.

Wow... that is absurd. The people supporting Romney need to rip their eyes from Fox News and look up his plans. Cause if that's his "economic" plan, then Romney seroiusly needs to rethink this President business, cause he is clearly not fit for the job.

I thought it was 500 billion, correct me if I'm wrong.

Good idea; better to tear down other candidates rather than risk Beck going apeshit on you for supporting Ron Paul.

Maybe if it was 52BLN from baseline and 500BLN from proposed increases? Dunno

perhaps its 50 billion per year for 10 years = 500 billion? whatever it is, it means deficits for all four years under Romney.

Probably get more air time this way, actually.

Good idea, and attacks our most prevalent competition.

I was thinking you were doing a "drive-by"...say your piece, get off before he can attack you, then either let him rant while his listeners allegedly think about what you said, or let him huff and move on to the next bleater, I mean caller.

THE MOST IMPORTANT NATIONAL SECURITY ISSUE IS OUR FINANCIAL SITUATION.

This. But good luck explaining that to a bunch of Israel-firsters that can't understand how a quadrillion dollar derivatives bubble isn't MORE IMPORTANT than anything some country made of sand is doing.

If you do talk israel, talk about it in the context that we give 2-3x more aide to israel's enemies; so cutting all foreign aide to everyone will be a net positive for israel

Absolutely Profligate by Jacob Sullum at Reason

That sounds good until you realize that Romney's goal of cutting $500 billion from projected federal outlays in 2016 would, at best, leave the budget about 8 percent higher than it is now and only 11 percent lower than it would be without any attempt to restrain spending.

...

Cutting the amount of an increase in spending is not a ‘cut’. It is only a reduction in the increased rate of ‘spending’. All together, Romney’s proposed cuts represent less than 3% of federal spending in 2011 and less than 8% of the $1.3 trillion deficit.

...

Romney also wants to increase spending, saying he would "undo the Obama administration's irresponsible defense cuts." President Obama has asked Defense Secretary Leon Panetta to find $450 billion in savings during the next decade, which would reduce projected military spending by 6 percent, still leaving the Pentagon's budget bigger in 2021 than it is today.

- Gen. Anthony Zinni
- Gen. John Abizaid
- Adm. William J. Fallon
- Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer said Ron Paul has the most accurate and realistic view of Iran.

Israel’s foreign and domestic intelligence agencies have warned against calling Iran an existential threat because it boxes them and the U.S. into a cataclysmic war with Iran.
- Former Head of Mossad Meir Dagan
- Current Head of Mossad Tamir Pardo
- Former Head of Shin Bet Yuval Diskin
- Chief of General of the Israel Defense Forces Gabi Ashkenazi

I was told 55 minutes ago: "Hey you'll be on really quickly sorry for the wait";

Clearly Bullshit

Glenn hates "progressives." Ask him how the rest of the field is not progressive? Bailouts, individual mandates, voting for the budget increase, department of education, medicare "D", ...
