Oh - and by the way here is the ABC "coverage plan" for Super Tuesday:
http://abcnewsradio.com/08election/advisories/supertuesday.html

it's one thing to have a news report quoting some random supporter saying something that's not true, but when the reporter themselves says a lie, it's unacceptable.

to be honest, i think those kind of reports work in our favor. i want people to think paul got 2nd in nevada without any campaigning in the state.

It's OK. If they say Romney is the only one campaigning there then second place for Ron looks even better.

VP of ABC is mad at me!

As some of you may know I am a producer at a conservative talk radio station.

After posting the contact information for the top directors of ABC News along with their coverage plan of Super Tuesday (which excludes Ron Paul), they have apparently read these forums and sent my boss an e-mail about it. By the way, the information I posted is available to the public on the ABC News website:

VICE PRESIDENT / GENERAL MANAGER Steve Jones of ABC News authored the e-mail in which he mentioned his displeasure of the situation.

Apparently he thinks we are “protesting” and “intending to disrupt his news operation to achieve political gain”.

To be fair, he did however say “I respect the rights of these people to complain” and his e-mail was very cordial.

He also mentioned that Peter SalingerDirector of ABC News Special Events “had to turn his cell phone off at 3am because the deluge of calls was unending” He continues “In addition our newsroom today was distracted from its primary operations so staff could answer calls from Ron Paul supporters”

While I do find this humorous, calling members of the media at 3am on their personal cell phones is not appropriate and I do not encourage this activity. In fact it reflects poorly upon Ron and ourselves.

I don’t want to "disrupt" anything at ABC. I never encouraged anyone to disrupt anything. So if anyone here is going to call or e-mail ABC, be polite, and don’t call at all hours of the night. Also don’t be rude, obnoxious, disruptive, etc. All you should do is state your opinion in a courteous and mature manner- they’ll get the point.

The information is publicly available and has been prior to my post so I have not posted anything that was private, confidential, secret, proprietary, etc. Again, please do not behave poorly with this information because it makes Ron Paul look bad. Our actions reflect upon Ron. Please keep that in mind.
