ABC News implies that RON PAUL may lose his CONGRESSIONAL SEAT

blowin' in the wind...

They're just trying to mold reality to fit their agenda.

true, I spoke to someone close to the congressional campaign last night,
the polls seem to be favorable, but let's take nothing for granted. note that
the only indication of "success" in this article is from the challenger himself.

They just called neocons "more traditional Republicans," did you see that?

Peden does have support within Friendswood. I see signs for him all around town (and a few bumper stickers too). I don't know about the rest of CD-14.

if they repeat it, over and over, they can make people think it is true.

We've seen this tactic before...this time it needs boots on the ground, canvassing, face time and making people aware that they don't have to stand for this manipulation.

Once Dr. Paul wins the Congressional race, abc will be proven once again that their biased news is full of lies.

What will he do if he loses that seat to the neocons? Will he f&*% them all with nothing left to lose and go 3rd party?

This was the most idiotic and biased article I've ever read. I was looking for why Ron Paul would loose his job as the title of the article implied. But the article never made an attempt to even provide any polling or evidence to back that up. It was all quotes from his opponent and ABC calling him a Libertarian instead of a Republican which he is now.

utter bs.

Friendswood is a tiny part of that district. I doubt it was even in Paul's old district lines. Paul wins because of the rural small towners.

Most of the people in Paul's district really like him.

I live in deep south Texas. We were canvasing a couple of weeks ago and found an elderly man. We asked him if he knew about RP and he said he knows all about him - he's from the Houston area. He loves RP! We asked if we could put a sign in his yard. He said, sure, it will make the neighboors upset but do it anyways. :D We asked if he'd like us to remind him to vote. Nope, he said there is no way he'd forget!

indeed, who counts the votes?

Who counts the votes?

There you have it......Frankly, I don't trust the results of any vote that is machine counted. We have formed a committee in our county to work with the County Clerk in examining the entire election process and will attempt to devise a way to verify the machine tally.
