OK - just got back from the polls, we are still doing good and turning the swing vote. No sign of any GOP folk out front, but the dem friends I've made are helping.
One guy in particular takes the last position and consistently gives Lawson a plug. (and since he found out I am grassroots supported he has been bringing me lunch). This is his 14th campaign and knows we have a good chance, as long as we can keep the enthusiasm, man the polls, and make the calls. We had an interesting conversation today and he explained how David Price has managed to remain in office all these years despite his record of supporting corporate/special interests and neglecting his constituents. We talked about the challenges we will face if we win and how to insure future wins regardless of the outcome. He wants us to contact him well in advance of future campaigns...
Next up is our need for volunteers. We really could use more phone bankers and more semi local poll workers for 11/4. We cannot afford to fly people in, we cannot afford to rent cars, we can shuttle people around and I would be happy to share my room with anyone who comes a distance. We will be providing food and water to those that work the full day.

About the only real perk will be an invite to the victory party (and the satisfaction of knowing you have worked for freedom.) I can assure anyone that the act of causing political pain to the establishment is worth more than any perk I have received in my 18mos of campaigning. Please help,

That is why we are strongly requesting help for the additional 175 new locations that will open up for election day. If anyone knows anyone that may want to help. Please call them and have them
