Maybe so, but Ron Paul is not the Messiah either. He is the best of the current field of candidates, but not nearly as good as the late Harry Browne.

Yeah, I agree, this in poor taste. Listen, we all know this crap is evil and wrong. But the way you present it is poor, because it provides an avenue for people to attack "patriotism." No matter how foolish and specious that is, you have to be able to see how things will be attacked. This is a blogwar, we need to keep strategy in mind. You ought to take that post down.

The suicide post is pretty distasteful. I hate Digg. People just "bury" comments and questions that they don't like. A poster said something like "The difference is that in WWII Japan attacked us first."

Being in the military, I hardly like to think of myself as "suicidal". Perhaps you were looking for a more rational word to use, since irrational words lead to irrational arguments.

It's OK if you don't like our current foreign policy, hell, I don't really care too much for it either. I keep thinking (and I guess that there are many more like me) that are hoping that we can still do some good in some part of the world one of these days. So I'm keeping my promise and living by my oath, and I'm really hoping that I stay alive

Hey woowoowoo you got all the in-betweens against you and on the side of eagle22. Yes, i do wish that you americans would stay home with your guns, but you have "lost" the discussion when eagle22 can get points on being pround and very stupid at the same time. Then its better to pack up and leave. Detachment is important in a discussion. - Also if you want to "win it". Just look at the detachment of RP. That is brilliance in work.

My advice is not to involve in mass discussions that you cant handle. Also its kind of immature. Better to get in a good point once in a while, that is thought out well.

I think its kinda the same style as the truthers. I dont say this to disrespect you, but discussions/debates should be handled with eloquence in order to hit home.

When people get irrational you can't communicate with them. If we step on people's toes they will step on ours. I have found Digg to be stupid and biased. I refuse to give it too much of my time. If Ron Paul supporters keep pissing everyone off, we are going screw the man we all love. I know if I can get someone to listen to Dr. Paul's message, that I have done my job. Ron Paul has been doing this a long time, I doubt any us have been at it as long he has. Let let him do his job and don't make it any harder than it already is.
