A song I recorded with my band, let me know what you think

I joined a new band up at college recently, and we just recorded our first song. It's not studio quality or anything (pretty much just a demo), and there's some mistakes we have to fix up when we re-record it at some point, but let me know what you guys think since I'd like some feedback on it: http://dangerousanimals.bandcamp.com/track/greyhound

I think you guys have a really nice cohesive sound. I feel like the drummer is trying to do too much, which pushes out the sound of the rest of the band. And even though it's a short song, you could have more contrast in arrangement between each section. There was some of this, but remember, less is more. Try recording multiple different arrangements of the song and see what you guys like best.

But all in all, there are a lot of good things going on here. :) good work!
 
Not bad. IMHO, the vocal melody needs the most work. If someone is singing over a simple, repeated progression (nothing wrong with that), the vocal melody needs to do something other than just follow.
