A soldiers plea!

bump!

Look, this is important. While many in the media are questioning whether or not we support the troops, a fellow supporter is sponsoring a genuine effort to help his fellow patriots while they are in harms way. Stop staring at the money counter on Ron Paul's site and start paying some attention to this selfless, patriotic, and worthwhile cause. The troops love Ron Paul, let's show them some love back.

airborne373,

there's $100 coming to our fellow servicemen and women through your chipin.

THANK YOU for you efforts in doing this.

We miss you!!!!!

We want all of you to come home!!!!!!!!!!

For anyone familiar with 419 scams this type of thread will raise a red flag. Personally, if this is legit then there shouldnt be a problem with the OP responding to the email sent by another member. "Put your money where your mouth is" is not an appropriate response to a verification email that was acknowledged as being received. "I have emailed you back and I hope it will quench your concerns" is an appropriate response. The defiance of the response shows that someone is trying to drag it out.

Put your money where your mouth is, indeed. Be careful.

Just an FYI, I've talked with Douglas on this and other issues for several hours and support his efforts. Further, this forums is now running a complementary effort on this- it's basically the same deal just that we're going to be doing the leg work for Douglas. Here is the thread on the forum ChipIn:

News Story About the 3/73 in Iraq

Hello Everyone,

One of the "unintended consequences" of this effort is I get to share the lore, history, and legend of the 3RD Battalion , 73RD Regiment.

CAMP SCANIA, Iraq - After a long and hard night at work patrolling the streets of Iraq, the Paratroopers of 3rd Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division are finally returning back to Camp Scania, their home for the next 14 months. Read complete story here.

I did a little shopping this morning. I intend to purchase and mail care packages as donations come in.

Please help us in this effort your donation go 100% to the items mailed and postage. There is no bureaucracy to support here.

You dont want to send a gift certificates for the commisary because it is GREATLY overpriced. The best bang for the buck is to donate to the Chipin. Dont know anything about the phone cards.

What an Exciting Weekend.

Wow, who new being a part of a political campaign could be so exciting. Here in Indianapolis our meetup put on two events for the Ron Paul National Rally Weekend.
Our first was Saturday at the Circle Center Mall in downtown Indianapolis. We had a turn out of about 26 supporters on a frigidly cold day. As what is becoming the status quo the public response was very positive and we handed out lots of literature about our freedom revolution.

We followed this up with another sign wave on the north side of INDY near Castleton Square Mall. We had about 29 supporters in the pouring rain. About six new supporters showed up and again the public response was overwhelmingly positive. Please watch the video slide show on my YT channel: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=airborne373

Be sure to read the side bar by the video.

Again thank you all for supporting this effort it is really meaningful and gets directly to the people who deserve it most.

So much to do, so little time. Keep up the fight patriots, we are winning.

I am used to military discriminators like you. The only fake on this thread is you.
...

The only fake is you. What a sham that you use Patriot in you username.

He was asking for verification in a straight forward and non-insulting manner. You think anyone that has posted in this thread has some sort of anti-troop motive? You think they don't want any dollars going to support troops? That makes no sense.

Fraud is a real problem and I appreciate the service they are providing. If you would be nicer, and if you were able to comply with simple requests such as replying to your email address, more care packages would get to the troops.

I'll give $25 if your reply to PatriotOne's email and he posts that he thinks you are legit. Is the verification really that unreasonable?

Respectfully,
Will

Agreed. I would also like to put in $25, but please reply to PatriotOne's email.

Response to Pat One

I have replied to Pat*&^% One's email. It was not a friendly response but he got one. The reason I did not want to respond initially was because there is no way to show this on the thread I must depend on a Pat^%$# One to respond. Now it is up to this individual to show some kind of contrition for his slander. I am not betting on it though.
