A soldiers plea!

Your donation already at work!

Hello everyone!

I want to thank all of the donors and let you know that your generous contributions are already at work. I had a care package of Dvd's, a PS2 system, PS2 games, plus some tooth brushes and bubble gum packaged and ready to go that has been setting around for a couple weeks. Just waiting to budget the shipping cost.

I got it out this morning.

i'm sure the soldiers will be more appreciative of this than a bunch of people looking up at a blimp telling them to vote for someone :)

I am sure the soldiers would be more appreciative of a man in the Oval Office bringing them home to their families than some bubble gum.. Sorry to be snarky but..snarky is as snarky gets.

I have been a member of the RP INDY meetup since around May. I had to re-signup due to some kind of problem just the other day.

You can go to my YouTube site and see the videos of RP meetups I have been a part of for several months now. http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=airborne373
We are group 90 out of what nearly 1400. I am one of the organizational members of our group.

These attempts to discredit me and this effort by people who have no intention of helping or donating is tiresome. I suppose no good deed goes unpunished.

I have provided more than enough proof, credentials, etc. Most Chip Ins are run by semi-anonymous groups with limited info. I have provided far more than that.

It was probably a mistake to give so much info. Perhaps I should just operate this Chip In like all the others behind a organizational name.

Why is it that people who don't contribute want to be the authority over my project?

Please just move on if you do not want to help, your negativity is ugly and it hurts only my guys in Iraq it does not hurt me.

P.S. If you are Air Force you already have a unit to support.

Guys, am I the only one seeing the opportunity here?

No other campaign is doing this. Imagine if he shipped out hundreds of these per month, all loaded with goodies and a little RP information. Now only would we look awesome for our charity, but we could get many soldiers over to our side. Someone from the military would have to be the organizer/spokesman though.

$25 sent... thanks for doing this.

and to Revolution9... ask yourself this - would Ron Paul think spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to RENT a floating bag of hot air with his name on it to be financially a good investment? Somehow i don't think its something he would have chose to spend his(OUR) money on... I find the entire concept wholly arrogant and conceited - we could be spending that money sending packages like these to our soldiers, not flexing our fundraising prowess in the most outrageous ways possible. I'd personally rather have the soldier's support and vote than a bunch of ignorant college kids watching bowl games (who more than likely wont care enough to vote anyways). Oh well. Thats why i sent my $$ here :) To each his own. "The free market will decide."

P.S. If you are Air Force you already have a unit to support.

My squadron was based in the US and still is. It deals with Security issues of the US only.
I'm not worried about them. They get treated better then most in the armed forces.

Whats the big deal about giving up an address?

the address is on the shipping invoice :)

I am sending more Friday or Monday depending on when the funds make it from my paycheck!

I just sent Doug Hostetler an email saying:

A person using your name (and identifying himself as a realtor in Indianapolis) is asking for money on a forum to send care packages to the troops in Iraq. I suspect this is a scam but am asking for your verification. Here is the post that you can read to see the forum thread he has started asking for money:

http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=42253

Please confirm if this is you. I would appreciate it since some people seem to be sending him money under what I suspect is a ruse.

Thank you.

If this is really you, I suggest you email me back to confirm

LOL....isn't that convenient that you had to "re-sign" up for your meet-up the same day you come here begging for $.

He'd be in a lot more trouble for committing mail fraud than taking some money from RP supporters.... mail fraud is serious business, and t fake such as that would be BIG trouble.

i think he's legit he's being quite open about it.

In addition check his photobucket account, he's been sending them for months......
