Greetings Heroes,

Here is the basic idea. If you are one lone Ron Paul supporter on Facebook with 400 hundred friends. You will probably occasionally post a link or a make a comment about Ron Paul and liberty. You might even get a 'like' or a positive response every once in a while. Well what would happen if we all friend-ed each other. Now you have thousands of like-minded friends. Every post, comment, or debate will now appear as if Ron Paul is supported by the overwhelming majority. I think this would go a long way towards convincing people he might be 'electable'. I don't think its something that has ever really been done. But I think it would very successful. It's really a pretty simple idea. Just friend everyone you can that is a Ron Paul supporter via the Ron Paul groups, events, pages, etc. I've been doing it lately and its actually kind of exciting. Facebook is by far the largest online community, let's unite it under Ron Paul.

Cheers,
Mike Zentz - the one from Hawaii ;)

I actually really like this idea. Well, my name is Eric Dalton, so feel free to look me up on Facebook, anyone on the forum who reads this. I am the one with the blackthisout picture still on his facebook (yes I know I am slow removing it, have been pushing the Nov. 11th money bomb though).

You don't have real friends who support ron paul?

Join or start a meetup, start a facebook group, network at tea party events, or gop events, or etc. and get local buddies!

Good plan/idea otherwise, positive reinforcement is good. I post or "share" at least 5-6 articles a week, usually having to do with farm freedom, occasionally anti-war, and less frequently monetary/economy.

Not sure if I'm correctly linking to my Facebook page, so, if you'd like to be my friend, I'll share my info. through the private messaging, here. I'd gladly be a friend to any of you! :)

I do, just not very many. My point though is that with hundreds of friends who support Ron Paul you will have tons of support and can support others. A link post about Ron Paul is great. A link post about Ron Paul with 10+ likes and half dozen comments is fantastic :)

I don't want to publicly post my facebook link but if anyone wants to do what Mike did that would be pretty cool. I'd definitely like to add anyone from these forums.

Anyone else interested in adding me, I just changed by profile picture to a Support Them Now picture.

Mike, I'm going to add you to UpVote Ron Paul group. Every Tuesday evening at 7 pm, we all post something about RP and then upvote everyone else's posts. That way, Ron buzzes to the tops of everyone's newsfeed! You have to friend everyone in the group so that's like 250 or so RP people already. Anyone else want in? Friend me and send me a message and I'll add you.

Just letting you all know the best way to do this would probably for everyone to "subscribe" to each other. It's a new feature and its pretty much the equivalent of following on twitter. However this way you will not need to have 10,000 friends on your list. Maintains the integrity of using FB as a personal page while also letting you use it as an activist hub. Ideally we have many 5-10 pages that everyone subscribes to.
