I can't blame them for defending their country. I would do the same if another country bombed and then invaded the USA.

The problem is that we get way too many threads not directly related about the campaign there, so if you want it there it really needs to be tied into the campaign.

Further, threads in the other sub-forums can get a longer, "slow burn" of traffic rather than a flash in the pan in GC, so don't count it out yet. :)

I'm pretty good with languages and dialects. I'd guess the narrator to be of an Gulf Arabic native tongue, living in the SE (possibly midlands) of the UK for 10+ years. That's my guess.

assuming it is real, i agree with the majority of what was said.

But unfortunately, his rhetoric doesen't match with some "resistance" actions inside Iraq - suicide bombings of civilians, death squads, etc.- that i would hardly call legit resistance (i know, he says that insurgents aren't really doing it, but do you expect me to believe we hire suicide bombers?).

And he seems to deny foreign presence in the insurgency, which i find hard to believe given what happened in Afghanistan/Chechnya (tons of foreign fighters arrived in those conflicts)

I don't doubt that there are some patriotic resistance groups fighting the ocupation, but they seem to be outnumbered by the psychopaths and thugs who just want to kill kill kill.

Final note: i just want to point out that this guy actually took the time to study and know his enemy, which is something our leaders seem incapable of
 
Excellent video, and like someone said, didn't say one word I haven't already thought myself.

The thing is though, the only Americans/British willing to give this even remote consideration are already on our side of the fence. The rest will react like antibodies to a virus and I have little faith that that will ever change. Worse yet, just imagine if Ron Paul were a front-runner, and the pundits decided to tie him to this? That would be the end.
