Saw it from this article:

Ron Paul's worst nightmare comes true? NAFTA Superhighway a reality

World, Canada

Number two on the popular US web site Digg — right below 12 clips of topless greased up women playing Wii — is a map of the NAFTA Superhighway on an Alberta Government web site. Why in the name of Free trade would so many people care about this thoroughfare?

Many believe the transcontinental corridor is a myth, yet there are many Americans, such as Republican darkhorse candidate Ron Paul, who believe this is a road of the devil--a four-football-field-wide path to American self-destruction that will welcome millions of illegal immigrants. Well, now, Mr. Paul might have some real fodder. The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation web site uses the exact phrase, showing a thoroughfare that begins in Manitoba and drops all the way down to West Texas.

When reached for comment, ministry communications director Jerry Bellikka said, “Where’s the secret agenda if it’s on a government web site? He added that the controversy is a “pretty good example of political rhetoric getting twisted out of shape.”

Just Like Ron Paul Said At the Debate

Either the people who deny this are the biggest uneducated fools in America OR they know it's true and are trying to hide it. But that would be just as stupid because anybody can research it and find it out.

I really do think these people have vastly underestimated the power of the internet and it's ability to spread research and facts outside of the standard propaganda channels.

That begs the question all thinking people need to ask themselves, if Ron Paul is right on this, what else is he right on?

Ron Paul was exactly right in how he answered this. It is NOT a conspiracy. It's just people with a different set of ideals. Some people want open borders between North American countries. I would even go so far as to say that a majority of people wouldn't have had a problem with it - before 9/11.

I personally would not at all mind a unified North America, so long as the Mexican and Canadian provinces become US states (constitutionally adopted of course) and the US dollar is the currency of the continent. Of course we all know that that is not the case though.

P.S. Seriously, blending Mexico with the rest of North America would be the best thing to ever happen to its poverty, drugs, crime and other social problems.

I am not against making infostructure like roads better, this is the same as the debate years ago about the railway going through the whole country, same thing. Better roads for trucks and cars traveling is a good thing.

My issue is comments from government officials denying it is being worked on and planned out. It's beyond stupid.

Just a couple of months ago I was called nuts for saying there is a NAFTA highway (which has many legs to it) and plans for a NAU, which are proceeding. SPP documents, legislation to block funding, etc. Its unbelievable how quickly people are now saying "I always knew that, what's the big deal"? Go on digg, and read the comments, and have a good laugh.
It is no conspiracy theory, if it well documented. Conspiracy to keep it hush hush perhaps, but there is no theory about it. People still can't connect the dots and realize the dreaded McAmnesty Bill was to further erode our soveriegnty and fuse Mexico and USA together, all with biometric ID cards, etc.

I think our worst enemy is idiocy. If Katie Couric said that we are heading towards an ice age tomorrow, people would believe it.

Why? Mexico's problems occur because of corruption, and their inability to fight back. They have more resources than us. The same elite that control Mexico, are the same ones pushing for integration with America, and many of them are in the CFR.

Akus, I supported this idea too until RP made me realize it would be the end of the Constitution; now I agree, the only way is if they becomes states and adopt the Constitution, otherwise forget it.

Having lived in Latin America for several years and being integrated into the society I can tell you that there is no more corruption there than here. Our politicians just do a much better job of hiding the fact they are scum!

For those of you scratching your heads of why we would want to join with Canada, let me fill you in on a little secret. I work for a tire company that makes large mining tires. We are placing tires in Canada's Oil Sands

Second only to the Saudi Arabia reserves, Alberta's oil sands deposits were described by Time Magazine as "Canada's greatest buried energy treasure," and "could satisfy the world's demand for petroleum for the next century".

It would blow your mind to tally up the amount of oil and money that is up there. I could see a NAU being more desireable to Canadians than being accused of harboring terrerists, WMD's and getting invaded.

Food for thought. Again, this isn't conspiracy but makes business sense from an USA perspective.

Who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes?
