Danielle Fish of Mansfield said she thought Romney ran a good race and noted that a lot of Republicans across the country voted for him.

"Die-hard conservatives are not likely to rush to the McCain tent," she said. "When the news broke about Romney, I began receiving e-mails from the GOP crowd asking, 'Where can I get a Ron Paul sign?' and 'Doomsday,' she said.

"I think that in the end we'll take a page from Mitt remarks today and work together toward November."

Michael McCue of Mansfield, a McCain supporter, said the party has to come together if it wants to win in November.

Mitt is in so much debt, why would they want him to be president? They need to join us and ride the freedom train to prosperity.

I've always Republican. I will NOT vote for McCain if he wins the nomination. I'll be writing in Ron Paul. McCain=fascism, Clinton=socialism, Obama=who knows because no one has any idea what his ideas are anyway

sure RP will get a few but i think most will go to huckster because people believe he has a better chance at winning the republican nomination

anyone know how much cash huckster has on hand?
hopefully he will run out of funds and the entire anti mccain vote will go to paul

Hmmmmmm, I don't know. I think Huck will get most of the Evangelicals and some of the other hard core Christians but more will go for Dr Paul I think. About half will go for McCain but will do so under the false assumption that he is anti-war and fiscally conservative. As they realize what he is really all about Dr Paul will be the only one left they can turn to.

Why would the country want a rudderless mcCain? He is the last nail in the conservatives' collective coffin. The liberal MSM wants a compassless Hillary and have conspired to make it happen. The roots of the party are embodied in Ron Paul.

As a conservative Republican..my first choice has always been Ron Paul. However, if the good Dr. did not get the nomination and did not run Indy, I would have been able to swallow voting for Mitt. I WILL NOT NOR NEVER vote for McCain or Huckabilly -- these men are LIBERALS....I think most conservatives feel the same way...if there is a shift..I think it will be to Dr. Paul.
