A Colorado Springs man faces federal charges for posting threats against police officers

Don't be a dumb ass and remember where you live. Better to keep some things to your self rather than post them on fed book.

Fight to defend the social security scam? Yikes.

Obama isn't "taking away" social security. It was doomed to the start.

Violent revolutions cannot fix idiocy. Defend yourself if you must, but don't act like that will fix the problems.

That's what anger does to you.

It unfortunate that this happened and I don't know the man personally but there was obviously a lot of rage behind those words.

You can't ignore those emotions, I know it's hard for me as well, but you have to channel them in a positive and productive manner instead of flying off the handle and saying what we're all thinking. Because more often than not, what we're all thinking will get you locked up or killed by the state.

I'm just baffled by how much the average conservative is willing to tolerate. I'm willing to say this much publicly, the Founding Fathers revolted over far less.

Bing-fucking-o.

I say this all the time to people and they sort of brush it off. If you examine the American Revolution, their grievances were legitimate yet trite by comparison to what the American people tolerate from Big Brother today.

If the Boston Tea Party happened today, the participants would be branded terrorists and most of the American people would eat it up. Then again, remember that most people in America back then wanted no part of the war. If everyone had stood up, Britain wouldn't have had a chance from the beginning.

Truth is, today, just like back then, it will be a minority of the population who will have to make the change and drag the majority of the population kicking and screaming along.

I'm actually, as I mentioned earlier, not even necessarily that big of a fan of the American Revolution. Was it just? Sure. But was it necessary? Probably not. And I'm against using violence unless it is absolutely necessary.

But, given a chance, I would have put a bullet in Hitler's head. There is a line.

The threat Perez allegedly posted read, "SINCE DARREN WILSON our group has killed 6 retired sheriffs and cops......because of this event we will hunt two more in colorado this week.....for every innocent citizen that cops kill WE, VETERANS WILL KILL RETIRED HELPLESS COPS."

This statement is what I found odd. I mean, why go after the "retired helpless" cops when it's the ones on active duty who are much more likely to be the greater threat?

Well, the Revolution wasn't perfect, that's for sure.

Violence is the last option. That's where you and I of course differ with America today where violence as seen as the main avenue of communication with countries or groups that we don't understand.

As for Hitler, that's the go to for everyone. The standard. He's no different than any other bloody dictator we've seen throughout history. He brainwashed/locked up/killed his own people just like the rest but I suppose it was the methodology and his ideals that he espouses that made him more despised than the rest. I wish I could've dirt napped him and any other dictator we've seen (Stalin, Pol Pot, FDR/Wilson/Lincoln) before they could do their damage but I'm decades too late on all of them.

I am sure there will be many more people like this man who will try to lead the sheep to the easy slaughter. The government is afraid of being held accountable legally, the judiciary system was just caught with its pants down a few times, and I think people are taking notice ...if enough people petition their local governments and stop ignoring police brutality with cheap apologies and cheap apologist statements then maybe people will actually move forward into putting POLICE into their cubbyholes. Police are not suppose to modify anyones behavior by doing "good deeds", in fact police shoudn't even exist in the department form, they are militarized street gangs, the idea of policing itself comes from tyrannical despotism during the French Revolution. They wore redcoats, the English adopted a policing system very skeptically and changed the coats from red to blue to calm the masses...there is no difference, it is a street militia. The founders are very specific about the definition of "militia"...the militia is the people, and NOT people who are elected or "officials". As for reducing power, people will have to make decisions whether they are willing to be status quo appeasers to continue to allow police to exist as "behavior" modifiers, or to put them under the constitution and petition them until they are forced to follow civil laws which bind them. The police are not suppose to tell anyone how to live their life, where to speak and not to speak, etc.. etc.., morals dont come from idiots in uniforms, it comes from families and charities independent of the state. It makes me sick to see police departments doing cheap Public Relations stunts with cameras always following them, handing out 100 dollars to random strangers, delivering groceries , yes Ill say that even if you hate me for it..because its not their job, its not their duty, I am sick and tired of an oppressive government that thinks it is the church and nanny.

Colorado? You see, this terrorist's actions are clear proof that marijuana legalization doesn't work. Other states should think about this before they make reckless decisions.
