We need to outreach to the disenfranchised... Angry McCain Supporters. We need to draw them into this RP Revolution. We need to get them in this circle, a reintroduce the Grand Old Party ideas as they were meant to be so long ago! We need to convert the McCain supporters into Libertarian "Barry Goldwater type" supporters.

Than, in time when we get enough McCain supporters we need to find Obama Supporters who WILL BE (once again) disenfranchised by the dozens of unpopular things Obama will do in his first four years as president. We need to do this, and we need to do it now!

Take the people supporter from those who would take away everything from us!

Some McCain supporters are a little more receptive now than they were before the election. I sent Ron Paul's book to a guy months ago and yesterday he said he was going to finally sit down and read it. I told him that if he wants to see where the Republicans went wrong he'll find a lot of answers in that book.

How much reception do you think we can get out of the McCain Supporters?

Out of the 57,174,445 McCain voters, how many people do you think will respond favorably to call to look at Ron Paul, Upholding The Libertarian Ideals, even changing parties to the Libertarian Party?

Your best bet is to get the Duncan Hunter and Chuck Baldwin conservatives. A lot are on www.meetup.com.

Send them invites to discuss about their opposition to Barack Obama. I guarantee there will be a lot of disillusioned Christians coming a well because of the bizarre messiah-like approach they have been using for Obama as of late coming from his supporters which is ringing a bell among the Christians.

Are you sure? From what I've seen there are still quite a few with the delusion Sarah Palin will run and win in 2012.

There should be a thread dedicated to Obama and then use that link and promote it to have a discussion for all of the disenfranchised so we can have an open discussion.

The Libertarian party isn't going to help, and plus we'd just be dividing people again... so the votes would be split between libertarian and the "reborn" republican parties, and allow a different (presumably democrat) party to win.

We have to pick one or the other and give it our all, otherwise the division will kill us.

Imagine a political party that is based upon upholding the Libertarian ideals? The Republicrat Party is dead it holds no meaning. We need to generate our our party that believes in SMALL GOVERNMENT - LIBERTY - Dramatically LOWER TAXES. Is the Republican Party going to do that? No, they have been made into a crying shame AND they are owned by the fundamentalists in this country.

Most Obama supporters I know are a bunch of corporate and social welfare loving freaks.

Eh, we could try. Didn't they throw out our DVDs4Delegates?

What about those people who "have no direction" now that Obama has won? I say take these people and point them to our cause it will be a lot of work ahead and they can actually put in their energy and vitality for the cause of Liberty!

Expand and conquer

I can't agree more, I've based my conservative-libertarian blog and website around this principle and I'm bringing together writers who aren't just Libertarian-Conservatives like myself in order to attract a wider selection of conservatives interested in free-market ideals and social liberty. The nice thing about libertarian philosophy is that it can appeal to either side, as long as you approach it rationally, calmly, and humbly.
