80's Music - Any Genre

Personally, I think the 70's had the greatest music, then the 60's. The late 70's actually sucked, first disco, then a lot of crap music like the Pina Colada Song, etc. The 80's started slow, then improved until about 87-88. Music pretty much died in the 90's. A few good songs, mostly one hit wonders in the 90's. Country took off, though, but not the old classic country of the 60's -70's.

The 90s was the best decade for music...if you liked Metal. Death with Chuck Schuldiner. Fuck yeah. Early In Flames, Dark Tranquility, Emperor, Deicide, Atheist, At the Gates, etc. etc. could go on forever. 90s was great.

Wild Night by John Mellencamp (live performance in 1990s) ... I wonder if John every thought of learning the piano and covering Dvorak's Humoreske ... would be interesting! :) :

Since most of John's work occurred in the 1980s, I'll throw this live performance in here... Technically, a new thread should be started for 1990's music and this song placed there. ;) I'll be adding more of John's work.
