Great post, + rep. What did your parents think about you supporting Ron Paul?

They liked that I had my own opinion, and definitely agreed with many of Ron's views. Though in 08 they voted for John Edwards (lol), I was able to convince them last year to vote for Ron.

Yup, every year from November 5th - December 16th I get all excited again thinking of the first two moneybombs. Was glued to the ticker every day in between then.

Cool, I'm glad they could escape the whole d-team/r-team thing. I have siblings on both sides and they are adamant about their teams. Well, this has the makings of a great nostalgia thread, I'll stop derailing the thread and let all you Oh-Seveners continue to reminisce. Wish I was here then.

At this time I had donated everything I could afford to in that moneybomb and was just watching the ticker rise and encouraging others to give anything they could. The ticker kept going and going.. The last few minutes just went insane and history was made. I was sitting at my computer cheering and yes, even shedding a tear or two. That night we went from being the folks that the media ignored to the folks the media ridiculed yet feared... Viva La Revolution!

Truly great memories. I had a website that I had created to promote how Ron was crushing the straw polls and such. We were all kicking ass and having so much fun. It wasn't the same in 2011 but it was still fun in a different way. Back in 2007 I would spent time every day promoting Ron on news articles in the comments. When we had the money bombs I watched the count with my teenage son and had a blast. Speaking of good old days... where is Huck's Army?
