$5 Million quarter may be doable - ticker is lagging -- per source from within campaign

Yes, but we don't know how much we are getting for the mailed donations. If Romney has less than $20 million like their own campaign suggested, then we are fine.

Romney apparently has a dedicated superpac expecting to raise hundreds of millions. We are simply going to be running a different campaign.

Do we know how much the other candidates have been bringing in?

i remember reading T-Paw had an 800K fundraiser when we had our first MB for the PCC. Cain, i would imagine is dead in the water in terms of fundraising. Bachmann i bet will have transferred money from her cong. account to her pres. account which will be 2 mill or so, Hunstman probably has 2 or 3 million raised, Newt probably has no money, and Santorum must be working on a shoestring budget.

They seem to have around $10 million themselves. He is missing expectations by a lot. With all the banks and corporations backing him, I expected more, personally.

Romneys original goal was 100 million. I would guess he hits that number, and i bet he gets at least 20 mill this quarter.

Well, we all know that Romney can raise big money but it did him no good last time. Why should this time be any different?

It appears as if we will have raised twice as much for Dr. Paul this time as we did last campaign during this period of time so I personally am very excited! The official campaign seems to be on track and out to actually win this time so I say that we are in great shape...

Bachmann also had a 'surge' in fundraising around the debate and likely by virtue of her announcement / polls. I expect her to do well, particularly when you add in the money she transfers.

Well he comfortably reached 4.It doesn't have that money bomb feel but on average there's been $6,000? per hour coming in which I would imagine is the 'natural' donation flow at this point in the campaign. It can only get better from here.I'm genuinely optimistic and Ron does have a real, fair chance to take the nomination.

In Q2 of 2007 Ron Paul had a full quarter to raise $2.4 mil. This time he didn't announce his exploratory committee until April 24 about 1/3 the way into the quarter. I think he is doing pretty well.

Yeah, but we need order of magnitudes difference in early fundraising to have an orders of magnitudes difference in the campaign.

Hey guys - just to clarify... if I buy stuff from the store right now, it goes toward the money bomb right?
